I am now on the 2nd podcast and you both are amazing. I've been married for 19 years and listening to your podcast it really gives a different prospective on things. I really want to stop and listen with my husband then I thought it would really be nice if we listened on our own then come together and discuss it. Thank you both. May God continue to bless your marriage. ❤

I love your depth in the Word of God and how that's what guides your marriage. I love your authenticity. I am here for it all and will share and share. Thank you and blessings to you Ken and Tabatha.

The dishes though. Idk if I can ever get to that place Tabatha. I end up doing them, but I am furious and irritated while doing so. Everyone knows their responsibilities. In order for house to function in sanity, everyone must do their part.

wow, I struggle just like Tabatha with worrying too much but when she mentioned what God revealed to her by saying Focus on what is important right now. That just spoke to me to let my worries go because what I have right now is what I need and I'm alright. Amazing show guys, thank you so much.

Not just you. It’s a woman and personality thing for sure. It’s not easy. Thinking of the things on your plate and then the unexpected dirty dishes or stuff lying on the floor. So true. Yes… we don’t mean to put the hubby in category as kids but see how it added to the list of dishes or stuff on the floor. Can be a challenge to keep in perspective and not trip

I don’t agree with the mother just going on and doing the chores. I believe the husband should have a family meeting and take control of that scenario informing the house even himself that mom is not the maid we should all pitch in and do including husband should enforce it, because if she is doing all the chores that other family member should be doing now she’s turned into a maid, get burned out, and that doesn’t help other family members in the household to learn responsibility and being considerate of how the other family members mom or dad feel
@latonyaharris77085 ай бұрын
I agree and also want to add that when the wife/mom is stress and get sick then people wonder why. There should be expectations because in the world with the kids work and at the husband job, there will be expectations. Most times the spouse & kids will do things for others but not at home.

I really enjoyed this video, and agree with most things, except for doing the dishes for the children. It teaches children to be irresponsible and to be disrespectful to the mother/wife in the home. I would have called a family meeting and explained that we are a “team”, and everyone has a part to play. The next time that your chores are undone, privileges are being pulled.

I have a question. How comfortable are most couples actually are with each other? I heard that most couples are actually shy around each other and don't like getting naked around each other, so they avoid getting naked around each other. Most couples will never be naked around each other. I heard that most couples actually are not comfortable around each other, and I heard that most couples don't actually have sex due to how shy they are around each other. Most couples are too embarrassed to be naked around each other and have sex with each other.

Pastor ken and mrs. tabitha referring to your comment about spouses that take 10 days away from spouse with friends, would you consider that spending 3-4 hours away from your spouse with friends, reasonable? Or 3-4 hours away with friends is the same has spending 10 days away from your spouse?
@Doinglifewithkenandtabatha Жыл бұрын
Thank you for that question. If you’re going to spend time away 3-4 hours is very different from 10 days away. It takes 4 hours to play 18 holes of golf! And that’s healthy. 😀⛳️ It’s really whatever works for your marriage. 🙏🏽
