I am from the mediterainian, so fruits and nuts certainly go together. Apart from the great taste, the nuts reduce the sugar spikes in the blood from the fructose. So very healthy combo.

I'm a big fan in general, but this is the best video you've ever made. Your marriage was really the star of the show. Over the years, I've loved watching Regina learn to love our sport. (And please help -- does she spell it with an "i" or an "e," I keep seeing both . . .) My partner Michelle (foolishly) agrees with you, Brad, about fruit mixed in with a meal, but I side with Regina, who is obviously the smarter of the two of you. :) Thanks for all the fun and inspiration! Maybe we'll run into you here in the Anza-Borrego one of these days.

Okay I'm not a off-roader but I still enjoy watching everyone doing remarkable things with the roadway. My question,( might be a real novice question) why do you deflate the tires before traveling over rocks? and how low is too low, is there a formula to follow? Great videos by the way, I really enjoy them! MMakes me want to buy a Jeep.
@stevensoutdoors
@stevensoutdoors 2 жыл бұрын
"airing down" the tires serves two purposes: 1. increased traction, as the tire has a larger footprint in contact with the ground, and can more easily contour itself around rocks irregularities, and 2. increased comfort when driving over very bumpy roads when you're only going between, say, 5 and 30mph. Reduced pressure is more art than science and highly dependent on speed of travel, vehicle weight, and size of tire. In general, larger tires can go to lower pressures. For myself, I most often air down to around 15psi.

Brad, as a fellow 392 owner, I'm curious to if you have plans to add AUX power. Currently I'm running a KC Pro6 (wired to AUX 3) and a Dometic running off the 12V port in the rear of the Jeep. I've found myself with a drained battery on 2 occasions... I'm gonna go ahead and just permanently mount my Jackery 1000 as primary power for the Dometic and only charge it while the Jeep is running. I also see you added some rear lights...

Sorry Regena, Fruit and nuts do not belong on sandwiches, (unrelated to your lunch but) nor do they belong on pizza..... or anything else with meat. I don't understand pineapple on pizza, but people love it.

Your trips together with Regina have given me more insight into why women have a slightly different approach to longer expeditions in the Jeep. My wife says she appreciates it! Thanks! 💑

Hey Brad. Just got back from a 10 day camping trip with the boyscouts to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. It was amazing. It was mid 80s during the day and 50s 60s at night ..perfect for tent sleeping. We were camped right on the Snake River in Wyomming and that river was the best white noise machine ever..I slept like a baby!! Love the vids brother thanks for sharing. I'm in Jersey so I'm gonna try and get down to OLEE in Oct so maybe I'll see you there. 👍

1: No fruits and nuts on a sammich! (tomato excluded) 2: I wanna see lots of B rolls of 'the sketchy stuff'! 3: Can you PLEASE give a 'master class' on how to use google to search out cool places to camp? Thank you, and great work, as always.

Just finished the most incredible adventure of my life Dallas to Tuktoyaktuk in the Northwest Territories, over to Alaska and home. Went through Idaho west of the Tetons up to Glacier NP on the way up and explored the eastern edge of the Rockies in Montana on the way home. 40 days with only a couple very dispersed hotels and some shower purchases. What a beautiful world we live in full of incredible camping opportunities.

We live in the area and love going to cave falls. Noticed you my not have stopped by sheep falls. If you are in the area again it is a definite stop. Love your channel.

If you ever come back up through Idaho again, I live in the outskirts of Boise. You and your family always have a home to stay in if you need it, Brother. Can't wait for the wife and I to start our journeys in the outdoors Idaho is a goldmine of natural beauty and recreation. Semper Gumby indeed!

In bear country (Glacier National Park) you wear Bear Bells when you go hiking. These are large round bells that let the bears know you're coming. They say the bears don't want to be bothered with humans. I think it tells the bears where their next meal is located. hahaha

What a fantastic video. Brad, you better not stop filming videos because with all that great looking food between Marco and Regina, you’d be a fatty in no time. 😁 Keep the action shot workouts going!

I'm pretty sure it's genetically impossible for Brad to get fat! He's eaten whatever, whenever since I've known him and he's always been slim. His idea of a "diet" used to be skipping his nightly bowl of ice cream. 😂

Idaho here: of course things didn't turn out as expected, you're in Idaho. Have done the Magruder several times. Love that trip. Our challenge here is that by the time snow melts, fires starts.
