You should build a temporary box to go over the septic access so you don’t have to dig thru the snow. Removing the snow from the box would be easier than digging.

Allie...So proud of you. You are a strong, capable woman that has been proven time and time again. Trent...Is there anything you cannot do? The van is looking fantastic, and someone is going to be very lucky to own it when it is ready to be sold. You should have a metal plate designed and numbered for all your builds - as important as the vin. Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next video!

I loved that you are so proud of Allie and you let her know. I have worked with women who are in DV situations. Women who would be afraid to call their husband/boyfriend for help because they know them getting stuck will anger them and they are faced with a situation that most likely will quickly escalate. You showed concern and you did not belittle her at all. You stayed calm which helped her remain calm. I am impressed with how kind and loving you treated her as she worked herself out of the ditch.

Watching the two of you has given my life renewed joy. My beloved honey was so much like Trent. He found an abandoned store near a river. My first impression was, it looks like the Munsters live here. We purchased the building and found out from realtor it was built in 1863 (Lincoln was President). For two years from sunrise to sunset my energizer bunny bounded out of bed, I made a pot of coffee, and he was slamming the crowbar. His creative vision was always at the forefront. It was a labor of love for nine years. I have deja vu watching your podcast, recalling our blissful years creating our future together. It all went too fast. We were allowed 42 happy years, now I remain with the memories; our children, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Please know this, every moment you have together is a treasure. Your gift to each other, Son Leo, is on his life path and observing his surroundings. He will learn and move on toward his greatness. It's the cycle of life. Cherish his every move, smile and accomplishments, while you continue finding new adventures. You are teaching through your podcasts how a relationship enables two energetic souls to dance together in perfect harmony. Thank you for being your authentic selves. Joyfully, Claudette 💫

Great job Allie. You have a great instructor. It's a skill you need, living on the mountain. As a female, young teenager, I learnt how to not only change a flat tire but repair a puncture. My parents had a gas station complete with workshop and mechanic. So needless to say I learnt a whole lot about cars. Getting yourself out of that situation was truly an accomplishment. It will give you so much confidence for living on that mountain. From now on, your knowledge can only increase.

Go Allie! I know that feeling of accomplishment. When I was first #vanlifing my battery went dead and I was out in the middle of nowhere with no one to help. So I did some googling and asked on a Vanlife forum, and then I managed to jump the starter battery with my solar house battery! I felt so strong and smart and competent. It was amazing, and totally reassuring that I knew I could do it again. Of course, the next time it happened, I accidentally switched black and red, and fried everything. Lesson learned!

Allie you are so much more capable than you know. Really it was about the best circumstances to learn about how to work your winch. Now you forever have that ability. I am a woman... not a mechanic but learned some stuff. I have changed a water pump, ignition switch, alternators, batteries gone to auto wreckers and pulled off a muffler with a complete exhaust system... dad installed it for me. You just learn one thing at a time as you need it. That doesn't include all the the stuff I did with my dad... breaks, tire repair, swapping out tires to summer / winter, thermostats, struts ect. I am old. It was just one thing at a time and it still is. Here is the thing... i am not really mechanically inclined. LOL The more you expose yourself to the more you learn. It is really okay to not know how to do they stuff. That is growth opportunities presenting themselves. I learn stuff still everyday.

You go ALLIE! What a great job! After growing up in upstate NY SINCE BIRTH just outside SYRACUSE it is inevitable that these things happen. Then we moved to Mn which had less snow but more ice! Now 20 yrs in NJ and everything closes with 2 INCHES of snow. So glad to see your special guests!😀

Congratulations Allie, you nailed it! So glad Little Leo slept through the whole thing. I bet yall are ready for the winter to be over, as like enough enough already. Never a dull moment with you guys, you accomplish so much. You need more of those camping trips. Love you guys and I am enjoying the journey so much. Thank you 😊

LOL, THIS episode reminded me of a huge reason why I don't miss the winters of Michigan! I learned to drive just as winter was coming on. That was soo scary & confidence-boosting at the same time! You are doing so great with so much to learn. What an AMAZING set of tools you have at your disposal on your truck. Very cool. Keep going girl! You got this momma. 😙

Great job Allie! Not sure I'd have the courage to even attempt that, even with someone talking me through it. That was something and to do it by yourself, Wow! So sweet to see Grandpa loving on his Grandson. There is just something about a grandchild that is so so special. It's a new kind of love that you feel within the depths of your soul. Stay safe and God bless.

Well done Allie. There are a lot of people who would have thrown in the towel and said it’s to hard I can’t do it. But you showed people when things get tough you can do it by not giving up. So very well done.

Tears came to my eyes when you got the truck out, very strong young lady you are and a great husband to walk you through it and a cooperative little fella sleeping for you where you went through all of your adventure there. Happy your parents are in town to share memories with. Have a great weekend

I hope you see this, You should TV the sewer line you could do it now then when the snow melts you will know exactly where to dig and repair. You could possible do it even if it still winter. Ive had to do the same several times in northern Idaho. Its very cold and very snowy there.
