Your videos about the cleanup are so interesting because we don't realize just how difficult things are after a disaster like this. The News just tells us it happened and then moves on and no-one explains how awful it really is. Thank you for doing that. It fosters a sense of compassion that is usually missing.

I agree. I live on the west coast of Canada but have a connection with PEI where the hurricane also hit. So far I have not found anything to update the cleanup there nor in Newfoundland.

I haven't been able to watch a lot about the hurricane. My folks wintered in North Fort Myers for many, many years and it was my happy place. It's just heartbreaking to see the devastation at Sanibel and the beach.

So sorry! So much Light & prayers to you and everyone involved in this. Having survived a bad hurricane, tornado, major earthquake in my life, I think it is so important to show how long it takes to revive a place after this kind of devastation...usually many years. Step by step it changes and keeping that positive 'can do" attitude is key. Hugs!!

I think we get so caught up in every day things we forget how much we truly do have to be grateful for. It's an unfortunate thing that sometimes it takes a tragedy to remind us of how much we have to be thankful for. Thank you for reminding me to stop each day and be thankful and to take moments for others. Whether a smile, holding a door, a prayer or to be able to offer help in times like these that you are experiencing. God bless you!!! I look at world and see good people in the face of adversity (Ukraine comes to mind too) What I am so badly trying to say.....is you give me HOPE, and I am sure your community that you have built would say the say....God Bless and hope you and your Dad are able to get kiting one day soon!!! In a time of need, when we haven’t yet transitioned to electric vehicles, no one would fault you for using what’s on hand, regular gasoline. We spend so much money on natural disasters; why couldn’t the government help buyers get a discount somehow on electrical vehicles? And, when you rebuild hopefully the environment will be considered over greed. Developers are so greedy.
