Very boring comment incoming, but I believe the i pace is built by that Austrian sub-contracter factory. I can't remember the name of them but they also build the new G Wagen for Merc. Basically they specialise in (relatively) low volume production, but they are renowned for unreal build quality and, fit and finish in terms of rattles and squeaks and basically responsible for the G class feeling indestructible.
