I know envy is a sin, but I can't help being envious of your land. Beautiful views all around and seems so peaceful and serene. I could stay there forever.

Agreed! They actually lease our property for cattle grazing, so that is how the relationship started. Thanks for watching!

Hey Brian, love the water video! You’re so creative. It’s obvious that you, Renee and George are enjoying your camping property. Thanks for sharing. Love ya, Aunt Cheryl

Thanks Cheryl! The previous owner left those two cisterns. He left a bunch of junk, so it was nice that he actually left a few things we could use, lol! Thanks for watching Cheryl!

I'm really glad I found a good family friendly channel to watch. And I learned something today... beetles eat poop! lol
@ColoradoCamperman2 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you found my channel! Lol, we learned something new that day too! We had no idea that's what beetles eat until we looked it up (our son was asking). Then, we flipped over a bunch of old cow patties and wouldn't you know, we found tons of beetles!

Hey Christina, good to hear from you! We have been really good. I hope things have been well with you! Are you still traveling and working out of your camper? It is really nice to have our own property to camp on. No need to reserve spots and we have plenty of space! I definitely recommend it if you are able to swing it. Thanks for the comment and watching!

I have a project idea for you. How about some kind of lean-to (slant) roof off of your shipping container? Then you could make a rain catchment system with some rain gutter and a downspout.
@ColoradoCamperman2 жыл бұрын
Lol, I have thought of that exact project! Based on the container size and amount of rain/snow we get, we could catch around 3,500 gallons in a year. That would be a heck of a lot better than making trip after trip to our neighbors house! Thanks for watching!

Are you remote enough to do some shooting if you wanted to? I'm looking to sell our rental for some land, but would love to be able to take the guns. Great video man! Beautiful.
@ColoradoCamperman2 жыл бұрын
Heck yeah we can do some shooting! We have a small hill we shoot into and last year when I rented an excavator, I dug into the hill to make the back stop higher. Here's a link to that video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5XQgqxtbZ6JiJo We are in the process of building a log wall to shoot into. The hill is really rocky and we've gotten a few ricochets with .22 rounds. If you're looking for land, I would recommend checking the county regulations. They should have their regulations listed online and will tell you if you can shoot on your property and/or how many acres you need to have to be able to shoot. We bought our property because we sold our rental. It was 100% worth it! I hope you find something. Thanks for the comment and watching!

My oh my! With that hot tub, I will say you are "Movin on Up" Things are really taking shape. How many camping spots are you up to? Nice to see you got yourself a Ranger. How are you liking it so far? I love the Rangers, but with how tall I am, I really don't fit to well in them. We are getting ready to go to Duck Creek Village next month. Should be a blast. Keep up the good vids.
@ColoradoCamperman2 жыл бұрын
Lol, yeah it is definitely a red neck hot tub! It works out great as a pool and my son loves it! We have 6 campsites. 2 are really good, the 4 other sites don't get used too much. We are partial to ours by our sun shade and we never move anymore. The UTV is sweet! It's actually an off brand from Tractor Supply - a Massimo Buck 450. We love it! It is so much more practical for our property. The dump truck bed is amazing and the fact the 3 of us can ride together is huge! If you're really tall, I could see how you would have issues. There's not a lot of leg room in there. Where is Duck Creek Village at? How long are you going for? Thanks for the comment, good to hear from ya!
@kampinkevin88892 жыл бұрын
Duck Creek Village is in Southern Utah. Mega off-road area for side by sides, quads and dirt bikes. In the winter, they run the snowmobiles. Google it, it is awesome! We will be up there for 6 days. Rented a nice cabin with some friends of ours. Should be a good time. Anything to get out of this Vegas heat. Been 110 + degrees lately. Duck Creek is at 8600 feet and will be in the mid 70's Yay!

How or what are you doing to keep Algae growth from forming in the "storage" cistern?
@ColoradoCamperman2 жыл бұрын
The dark tank will not allow light to pass through, so algae will not be a problem. There was approximately 150 gallons in the tank before I moved it. The tank had been sitting there for years with this water inside and there was no algae. We will see now that is is full, but I'm guessing it will be fine. Thanks for the comment and watching!
