It's definitely KZbin. Tons of creators across various interests have had their follower make the same claims of diappearing comments. Their effort to kill the bots has only killed real consumer engagement and it's pissing a lot of people off. The best information I every got for all the 3 major diesels engines was from Jared @ Questionable Garage. He basically was like "everyone thinks all the 3 major ones are better than the others"; when it realty he said they are all pretty amazing engines. Except each one has something that makes it only 95% efficient. And it's not the same part or upgrade on each engine. So, he suggested when purchasing a diesel, research what those specific parts are for your engine and get the upgrades done. It will not only improve the performance, but also ensure it won't have that know "problem" that those specific engines will have. I know in the video he working on, once such change was the digital pedal controls. The stock controls don't care how much pressure you put on the gas pedal, it only accelerates using a factory setting. The setup he flashed in allows for better control of acceleration because the factory settings can cause problems when pulling trailers or hauling heavy loads where you won't get enough power that the engine can produce to move it. Either way, it sounded very solid and makes sense. Just check what your machine needs to be the best, then make those upgrades. It's worth every penny and more.

I have a 15. LML with 183,000 miles. My understanding is that the failures are caused by lack of lubricity in modern fuel. I purchased my truck with 93,000 miles on it. Since then I've been running Stanadyne Lubricity improver with every tank of fuel.

I've got five Dodge family trucks. The only problems I've had with them were going through transmissions quick and rear differentials coming apart. Aparently the bolts inside the rear diff will loosen and back out inside and get caught between the gears. Locking up the rear end and yeeting the driveshaft. We've replaced four rear ends and drive shafts in eighteen years. 7 transmissions too. Dodge will not recall either one of them. Glad to see yeah y'all filming again.

I have a better one. I don't have a Ford after my friend's horror story. He buys a Ford Mustang Cobra Jet 500. He has it for less than a week. All the bolt holes on his Transmation's housing shattered. It was under warranty, but it took the dealer 4 months to get in a Transmation because the car was so new. The loaner vehicle only covered up to a month. He had to pay to rent a vehicle. $98,000 for it to sit there for 4 months. He got the car back and traded it for a ZL1 Camaro.
