We lost 23 chicks in shipping back in February. The hatchery immediately offered a refund or to see another batch of chicks. We chose the new chicks and they arrived alive and on time. We went through Cackle Hatchery. Glad to hear Murray McMurray took care of y’all.

We have a well shed we bought last summer,it kept it warm inside for the winter.we didn’t put the floor down.Our well guy said,to put down ant granular poison.Our well water was coming out slow,found ants in the switch on the side of the well.He cleaned it and the water started running fast again.🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This plastic shed is wonderful. I would have liked it to be slightly larger. The Patiowell Kick It Shed seems very doable. If you put a shelving unit in the Shed you could store a lot more stuff.

The coop turned out great. One piece of advice from experience is to use wood shavings instead of straw. Straw absorbs moisture a lot quicker than shavings and gets moldy. With chicks you don’t have to add as much as you would if they were full grown. The droppings are small enough to fall and work themselves in between the pieces of shavings. Pine or cedar also controls odor and repels mites as well. Just put them right on top of the straw. Just a thought. TractorSupply or other farm supply places carry them. Love your guys energy and hard work and vibes ! Keep up the awesome content. Stay bless and stay safe.

31 dead chicks is unbelievable Lumnah Acres gets their chicks and they normally get 50 at a time but they always get 52-55 to allow for the odd ones being doa and they may loose none so end up with up to 110 fully grown chicks ready for freezer camp but over 2set loads spaced out 6weeks apart.

Hi guys i think you should a piece of zinc in the middle of the rood so no water can get. The first two weeks are the most critical stage so enough warmth in the pen is key. Best of luck from Guyana

JudithB Thats a lot, but glad they are replacing them. I bought 10 at Atwoods back in February and only lost 2. I looked at Turkey poults yesterday but decided not to get some. I did get a trailer dolly so I can move the trailer around without using the truck! LOL!!

I would see no reason why you couldn't put 2 of the 8x6s together as one 16x6 might not quite come up to 16x6 maybe 14x6 but would double your storage space
