My younger brother had a similar sickness called autoimmune encephalitis the worst 10 months of my families life. After 3-4 months with declining health 2 months in the ICU and 2 months rehabilitation and today you cant tell he was sick at any point.. stay positive don't give up and take it day by day! You could tell when she saw it, she hoped but did not want to assume it was a real car. I’m always amazed - a lot of people must know by now what it means when Nate shows up, and I’m guessing it follows a friend/family member asking extra questions about your troubles, but you can see in their faces they truly are not expecting or assuming. It’s truly humbling, I know many of these folks share a faith & while I cannot wrap my head around that theology, this region sure lives the “love thy neighbor” rule, not just Secret Santa but the non-billionaires too. Given the likeliest candidates, I’m pretty sure this is my “Good Samaritan” story - testing my assumptions about wealth & politics, Secret Santa is likely not a person I admire IRL and I appreciate that this always challenges my unusual faith (Jeffersonian Christian so just a dollop of faith lol) & judgmentalism.
