I've never been diving, but I've swum in some murky waters, and even without diving gear, it can be hard to even tell which way you're facing. You can easily end up going backwards or the wrong direction.

I'm Christian, but I admonish statements like that. You bible thumpers think that by spending all your time memorizing the bible, you are guaranteed to go to heaven. What a laugh! I believe that the real God, our father, approbates those who selfishly help their fellow man while on this earth. I rather spend my time helping the elderly, disabled and kids, then in a church just reading the bible over and over.

This seriously breaks my heart this brave man put his own life at risk to save the boys not knowing he wouldn’t come back out alive he only had one mission to get them out fast and although he wasn’t there to actually bring them out he was there in spirit to help them get out... I believe it’s because of him they all made it out even all the divers, Navy and everyone that helped rescue these boys and their coach... he is definitely a hero and that’s what the whole world will remember him as A HERO! May he Rest In Peace and not be forgotten 🙏🏼 all the way from Arizona with love ❤️

It is being a while. I was watching a documentary on my flight about the Thai cave resue. Tears down when I saw this gentleman died. He did what he promised, "we will bring the kids home", and the world did not let him down. and He inspires thousands to keep going for a meaningful life, no matter how long or short it is. Dear Saman, you are the true hero and will live in our hearts forever!
