Before this hotel , it used to be a mall , next door the mall there used to be a sheng siong supermarket and a foodcourt with 50 cents coffee and $2 chicken rice. Missed that place.

FYI the gold shops in little india normally sell 18k gold, not our usual 24K gold, so before you buy better ask carefully.

Singapore once part of Malaysia is definitely nice n clean City but the cost of living/ staying there is much more than else where in south East Asia...the nearby KL is the next best choice for longer stay.. with equally good infrastructures n transportation system ( if not better) friendly people with diverse melting pots of delicious multi-etchnic cuisines...agree ??😅🎉

We want to see many different countries. Some are more expensive than others, that’s just how the world works! Singapore is beautiful and we are so happy we visited so we can appreciate it regardless of the higher price ❤️ But yes! Agreed KL is great for a longer stay. We enjoy out time there ☺️

19:49 I might be wrong but I think that's an unlicensed street vendor. In Singapore you're not allowed to sell food at the roadside unless it's in a proper licenced premise like a bazaar or what we locals call "pasar malam". The licensing system for the Food & Beverage industry is pretty stringent and it requires the staff manning the stalls to undertake the Food Hygiene Certification Course. I applaud you guys for being such a sport but yeah, just know that whenever you buy food from unlicensed vendors it may come with certain risks. Personally though, I'm cool with it, but I know many Singaporeans may take issue with these things and might report these poor guys to the authorities.😅😂😂

These pop up street vendors are what that make little india so gritty ,authentic and appealing to tourists unlike the ultra clean sanitary and sterile parts like orchard road or marina bay. So just let them be and more tourists are likely to visit.

I'm not surprised if someone has already ratted them out to the authorities by now. 😂 The reason I brought this up to Chase and Shelby is so that they might edit out those guys from the video and be more mindful about who and what they film in the future cause they might just get these people into trouble with the law.

There’s no way of knowing who is legal and who is not, if the guy was worried he would have not been happy to be on camera or he would have told us. It was a great greeting and the guy was very happy to serve us. I think all was fine in that situation ☺️
