Buying a property like this, it’s a good thing your guys are friends with Andrew. He has the equipment and experience to help make it what you want it to be.
@alan68329 ай бұрын
I was thinking along similar lines, that most practical use will take some heavy equipment and maybe some environmental permit problems. most of it is too steep to store parts cars except at the top, to which they would have to be towed by an offroad towing machine, or terrace out the space lower down
@alan68329 ай бұрын
One thought is build an auto road, rerouted with switchbacks etc so not too steep, in sections to the top, financed by lot sales along the good road, then park your cars on the flat land at the top. trouble though if oil from the cars at the top gets into wells on the lots you sold below, or if the lot is narrow and this forces too many switchbacks. Lots of grading either way though, either road building to the flat land at the top or terracing the bottom, if you want to park parts cars. Might be better to buy land that is part abandoned surface mine and already has terracing and truck access, with trees and homesite on the remaining part, hopefully with somewhere for a clean well.

Jen send this to Chris. Rectifier/regulator is causing an overcharging scenario which is wreaking havoc with your atv's electrical system. That would explain why it runs better with the lights on.

We didn't last, we ended up moving to the country (foothills) on a dozen acres but only 30min from work and the city. Living in the mountains informed our later decisions. If you find a property you love, go for it, you won't regret it even if it isn't a forever purchase.

Good things come to those who wait, yes kinda a bummer about the second property but y’all will find what your looking for hopefully in time, I like the idea of a second channel, and have been really thinking of doing one myself. My first fourwheeler was the same exact Suzuki king quad like yalls, man I had some good times on that thing!! And they are tough, I beat the living crap outta mine and jumped it like I was a pro motorcross rider😂, it was slow and the suspension bottomed out easy but that thing had super low with diff lock and would pull the gates of hell down haha. C ya on the next vid l8ter
@JenniferSugint29 ай бұрын
You should maybe consider it. Chris started a second channel early on without any guidance or research on the matter. He just learned the hard way from trial and error that videos that were too off topic didn't do as well. Maybe you might notice this too? But I ended up watching dozens of youtube videos on the matter and found most of them very helpful so I'm glad I did. I turned down e-bike opportunities because they want dedicated videos only. I couldn't put an ebike video on my main channel lol! I was always so envious of Chris' ebike adventures and between you and me that's one thing I'm really looking forward to doing on this channel haha 🤣🤣. I know I made the right choice. I feel a whole new sense of freedom 🥳🥳. And no way, that's cool you had a king quad too! Chris sure beats the heck out of his too lol

Thanks, I had some people seriously annoyed that I started a second channel. Like it bothered them so much leaving comments like "Only has 10 Videos on main channel, but starts a second. I'm out BYE!" Lol I just laughed it off because they don't understand why. And most of the videos on my main channel are over an hour long and take way longer to edit than a 15-20 min video. But hey, you can't please everyone. And that was a thought I had as well, "How the heck did they get this cabin up here?!" Definitely would like a property that is less steep if we can find it.
