Yo I have a question and if anyone knows the answer it would be greatly appreciated! I have a rear hub motor that peaks 2000W but it doesn’t wheelie like this 500W bike. I’m running a 40A 48V controller with a 40A 48V bms battery, but I think the controller might be limiting the torque? I heard somewhere that high instant power draw is bad for the battery but it would be cool to do wheelies like that, is it my controller? The power seems to gradually ramp up from standstill.

I only charge to build it £250 for parts & everything. The mongoose jump bike they give me to convert was sitting in the back garden for 6 years completely rusted up. I had to strip it down clean & rebuild it. And add some new parts before even starting to convert it. Jump bike frames are very small I had to custom build the battery pack perfectly for the size.
