I’ve had a Paczki before! My local supermarket makes them at this time of the year. I like the custard filled ones because I’ve never been a fan of lemon curd filling. Loved them!

They look really nice! I don't dare making them myself cause I don't have a deep fryer, but the bakeries in the area have really good ones, so I support them by just buying xD There is a whole discourse in the German speaking countries in Europe about what to call these, cause every country has their own version. Here in Austria we call them "Krapfen" or "Faschingskrapfen" and the standard Krapfen is filled with apricot jam. There are different fillings of course, but that's like a classic Krapfen over here :D
