Great setup! All toyota wheelers should learn from this. Especially the 21, 22, 24 and 35mm. A lot of tool sets from big box store just goes up to 19mm. Many new toyota guys just buy a set off the shelf and thought they are covered, but they’re not.

Some flare nut wrenches would be good to add.

I would buy the Step22 tool bag at $160 US before I would get that one. Much better design.

Having a complete tool set like that on the trail is awesome, however, realistically when would you actually use it because if you need it, it's likely because you've broken something and need a replacement part which you don't have on the trail, so you're stranded anyway.

Looks awesome, How much does the full tool kit weigh?

Good question, I'm not sure. Not super light though!

Very cool guys. That’s a well built tool kit. I have a lot of those tools already. But that bag is spicy, so might have to get that. 🤙🏼

I use Maximum tool wraps from Canadian Tire as they fit nicely into the storage under and the behind the seats of my 3rd gen Tacoma double cab. I sprayed a bit of paint on each handle to color code each wrap for a different theme of tool groups. It does fit those socket sticks, but awkwardly.

I'm really stoked how it came out, was cool getting to help design it around our needs! And made in Canada!

I bought one of the tool bags and it is built like a tank! The advice in the video (and the thoughtful layout of the bag) helped me organize my trail tool kit a lot more logically, and you also pointed out some gaps in my kit that I've since remedied. I'm doing FAR less rummaging for the right tool now. Thank you for making these videos, they're a big help and I watch all of them!

Don't waste your money with generic kits. This kit gives you the tools you'll actually need to fix your truck. 🎉

Already started building my kit based off you old video with the blue ridge oveeland bag. Might get one of these for the wifes 4runner.

Great choices. Mine is pretty close to that. I do have a lot of Tekton, but also a mix of others. I love the wrench roll for all the reasons you said.

People complain about harbor freight quality, would you have any input on that? Saw your comment and debating whether I wanna cheap out on recovery gear🤣

with the # of times you'll be using them if this is just yoru offroad set.... honestly... probably the best choice...

$200 is probably a stretch if you bought all the tools in this kit, but you could probably get them for around $6-700 would be my guess. Tekton is a good tool brand, and I didn't want to fill this kit with junk. That said, you can always go cheaper, or bring less tools. The idea was that you can throw this kit under your seat on a trip, but then use it in the shop and have a fully capable tool kit for working on your truck day to day. My first tool kit (I did a video about it too) I bought cheap junk tools, and I hate using it. The pliers are all basically useless now, and the ratchets I ended up replacing with better ones, etc etc.
