Here's my opinion: Genre is a construct for comparison. Make the music you enjoy making, genre be damned. Very cool experimental project that you should definitely pursue, but only if you have the inspiration. Don't force it.

I love this song, I added it to my hyperrock, hyperpunk and hypermetal playlist on spotify. I think the direction in which the heavy music goes is all about genrebending maximalist approach combining the craziest amount of influences in the most avantgarde way. It's been hinted by a handful of bands before but in 2020s it got a massive kick in the butt with BMTH's amo and Post Human series. The best is yet to come.

As a french, i'm freaking proud to have Mirar as one of the new representatives of French metal! Moreover because in France metal is really not popular, it's getting better and better with newer generations but you really have no idea of how many french people discovered Gojira via the olympics. And having such great artists even though it's not popular in France makes me even prouder of them. Congrats guys!

Dude, people didn't realize back in 2013 or whatever... dubstep basically WAS metal. Almost every big dubstep producer came from the metal/core/whatever scene. Literally almost all of them. They were just playing modern metal without guitars. Take a song from like Zomboy in 2014 or whatever, tell me you couldn't just transpose it to guitars and it wouldn't go hard as fuck.

I might be biased though, seeing as I have a cat named Samson lolol… but in all seriousness, this and the one you did with Aaron from ten56. both go so freaking hard. All the Deathphonk stuff is amazing, but it’s next-level magic once you start collabing with an artist you’re genuinely a big fan of yourself.
