I kind of wish Woble wasn't a factor in this just because I cannot imagine Togashi actually killing him, as dark as he can get. I know many will say OH HE WILL DO IT but I don't think so. This sort of eliminates a lot of possibilities I would otherwise speculate on because while I don't necessarily think Woble will definitely "win" the contest I don't think will be killed either. If Woble wasn't a factor, I think it would be a cool twist to do something like have Benjamin and Tserriednich be the last ones left, then have Tserriednich inflict some sort of nen attack on Benjamin which seals his fate, but before Benjamin dies he does some really boss shit like crush Tserriednich's skull like a melon with his hands. Then Benjamin's baby becomes the king lmao

I do think we are missing a key perspective of the black whale. The worlds richest people and their most valuable possessions are on the black whale. Understandably, you have a lot of hunters on the whale who are search for valuable items and artifacts. Hanzo - A scroll, Kurapika - The Scarlet Eyes, Melody - Sonata of Darkness, Bisky - who can be swayed with precious jewelry, The Phantom Troupe - A tape that includes the identity of the person who killed their childhood friend. All these hunters are in the one place where all these items will most likely be. The richest people didn't just leave them at home. They're leaving to settle the dark continent. With Halkenberg, being named after an orchestra, WITH NO CONDUCTOR, how does that not point to the sonata of Darkness that can be played by people without a conductor. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE somebody talk about this!

I can't honestly say that I see Benjamin surviving the succession war but I can see him decimating some of the competition on the ship if things get really out of hand. He will most definitely have to display his combat prowess soon. If Benjamin so much as activates his nen, his guards would probably follow suit immediately. Unrelated but is Tserriednich really OP though? Parallel future is only OP when activated. If he gets swiftly and critically injured before he activates it, he's a goner just like everyone else. Also, if he's fighting a far superior fighter whose defense is impenetrable, his 10 seconds advantage will run out and he'll get clapped afterwards. He's talented but very much killable. In fact, he'll be a walk in the park against enhancers with superior durability and strength.
