🙂 yup, a big cheap old boring open tower case for a Full ATX motherboard, front mesh, dvd drive, front and rear generic case fans, yay! 🐢😍
@elr774 жыл бұрын
I actually own one of these and it has been probably the best case I have ever owned. It actually does support a 360mm radiator, you just have to remove the metal panel the front fans are mounted on. However, I use a 240mm because I don't need something that big for my Ryzen 9 3950X. It has a lot of space inside for custom loops too and airflow is perfect. I have only had the front panels open once or twice due to heat but it was a very hot day and I was pushing the GPUs I have inside the case. The RGB display on the CPU and RAM is all about placement. How you angle the case. The case has to be to your side, you can't have it straight on if you want to see anything. Also if you think far enough ahead when connecting your cables, you would really have fully populated all the SATA ports on your motherboard with cables and fed them through to the drive bays. This is the point of this case to add additional drives, and I have 6 installed, you should only have to remove the drive bay panel and connect to the cables you have already installed. I have only had to remove the GPU compartment when initially setting up the PC and when I added a second raiser to connect my BlackMagic capture card. You also don't have to remove the GPU paneling to get to the 240mm AIO CPU cooler or to access your RAM. I have upgraded from 32GB to 64GB on my X570 MB by simply removing the glass panel. There is enough space to get things in and out. The only time I will probably have to open things up again is when I get a PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD, but will probably only need to access the CPU compartment.

As weird as it is, I'm glad to see at least one company trying to be different. I think it has potential (I wouldn't buy it personally, but I feel like somebody might). Things I would want: 360 rad support in the mobo and GPU chamber (as you mentioned) Dual tempered glass on each chamber (maybe except the bottom two panels) so you can see things from more angles. Magnetic dust filters (as you hinted at) Perhaps a chamber for a reservoir? Thinking about it it would probably end up either next to the motherboard (only partly visible at best) or the GPU chamber, meaning the GPUs would have to be back in the main chamber. Perhaps the power supply could be moved to the drive chamber, I think that for as limited of a market as this is, not many people are going to have more than 3 3.5" drives. That, or move some of those drive bays to the current PSU chamber and make space for a res. I do like that all the screws are removable (from Paul's review).

Make the case larger, and put the CPU socket behind the middle button of the case, and have cooling behind it, also make air flow go in in all 4 direction flows of the front spring panels. Allow 2 motherboards, 4 SSD displays, 8 RGB 1080ti's, and Liquid Cooling, and revise from there in our opinion. Also wireless charging stand to mount underneath the case, instead of the case being table bound.

I would love to see a cuboid modular case with air flow separation that you can assemble like Lego to meet your needs. This shape looks inefficient, and the price must be high because of that 400$.... It's again style vs usability... Where the usability, and function is secondary.

I’ve been living with this case as a daily machine for about a month now. To be honest. I’m loving it. I was really nervous about temps to start with. Always monitoring the internal temps through both the mobile app on my iPad, and via the Corsair link software on the desktop. It runs near dead silent, with the only source of noise or humming being from the Corsair ram cooler that came with the vengeance lpx kit, and an old hard drive that I tried using as extra storage, failing miserably. Yes, I had to remove the front fan to fit my Corsair h150i pro aio rad in, because I have a Titan Xp up top. I did find the lack of any extra pci-e risers annoying, as I’d like to have had the elgato up there too. Another little annoyance, is the led lead that goes from the arduino to the hdd cage. After the system is built, adding any extra drives requires more work than you’d think. Because the lead for that led on the SSD mount, is short. It has to be unplugged from the arduino before you can actually remove the cage to give full access to everything. I was also unable to use any standard sata power cable with that particular ssd Mount, from my Corsair rm1000i PSU. Internal temps are stable, not to mention ridiculously low, air flow is impressive, noise is a non issue, it hasn’t come close to internal temperatures requiring the automatic activation of the front flaps and ramping up of the fans. So it just lives on standard fan speeds, with the rear set to silent, to create slight positive pressure. All in all, I’m very satisfied with it. Though, the glass panels terrify me. When they snap back, it’s like they’re either going to crush a finger, or shatter. But they don’t.

I have always preferred ITX cases. One day I will splash out and get a case like this but while I still do a lot of traveling and don't have a permanent place of residence then I will keep with the small form factor. I understand what you're thinking. "Hopefully, something that looks this cool at a glance will encourage other case makers to spice things up a bit!" But if this $400 monstrosity can only be called an "innovative disappointment", then I don't think it's going to do that. What we NEED are cases that are not only aesthetically innovative, but are designed well enough to show everybody that you can have something that will turn heads without making major sacrifices in basic functionality.

I'd definitely sacrifice simplicity of building for aesthetics. In the end of the day, it catches the eye and if I was to go on a LAN Party with this (will be a bit of a challenge!), some people will be shocked to see the front panels open.

How come EVERY video you make is next level quality - Like honestly, HOW?!?!? You make a new video every other day and they all have exceptional production... The only gripe I have is the explanation of the GPU dimensions, Shouldn't it always be Length as the longest, then width as the next, with height being the smaller size. Saying the height could be an issue doesn't seem right based on the previous point. If it was based on layout, ie - the height being how tall it is, then what about a normal config that has the card inserted into the mobo directly? Your not the only one thats mentioned it this way as I've heard a couple of others say it the same but I'm genuinely curios as the reason why.... Anyway, if you read an respond sweet that would be awesome, if you read an don't respond then keep up the amazing work, and if you don't even read, well, if a tree falls in the woods.....

i think this is just a tragic case of form over function. As cool as this case looks, for the price and how limited and poorly designed it is in the end, I just don't think it's worth it for anyone who doesn't just want to show off how much money they can burn on a computer. I appreciate them trying to think outside the box, but this just feels like a failure to me.

@bacaestrife36156 жыл бұрын
400 dollars is an absurd sum to spend on a sub par case, but it's your money. I agree it looks good, but again it's form over function, and I can't justify spending that kind of money on something that isn't up to quality. Hope you're enjoying it though.
@kuhhnt6 жыл бұрын
And yet. It’s nowhere near the most expensive case available on the market. It suited my requirements nicely. E-ATX compatible. Ample drive bay space. AIO compatible. Not a brick shaped box like 99% of cases on the market. Minimal emphasis on RGB. Looks good on my desk. And was significantly cheaper than 2 other cases I’d decided I was considering at the time. It’s easy enough for people, such as yourself, to form an opinion based on specs, on watching a video. But what actual hands on experience do you have with the case? I might add, none of the front flaps were loose at all on mine. It’s easy to be an armchair critic. I suppose you’d say that anything other than a minivan or station wagon is a car for people who want to flaunt their money too? Features like air conditioning must be too ostentatious for somebody with sensible money? Right? I mean, a minivan or a station wagon are perfectly suited to performing the average persons daily duties, whilst offering support for extra family or friends to ride along, and dutifully carrying your groceries. What possible reason could anyone want a coupe or sedan for? Let alone a pickup.
@bacaestrife36156 жыл бұрын
You're not making any good points for yourself here, I already said I'm happy it works for you, but it's not a practical case and you're literally saying that it's about form over function for you, and that money wasn't a big deal as you were considering more expensive cases. You're actually hurting your side of the argument far more than helping and coming across as unnecessarily antagonistic, it's your money and if you want to spend it on style over substance, that's fine. I already praised the case for its looks, but unless you have money to burn as you obviously do, there's no reason to buy this case over something much more affordable that's brick shaped. I'm glad you're enjoying the case, but you're just trying to justify your own expense at this point.
@thertsgamer30666 жыл бұрын
I'd call it a success because it brought a lot of eyes to it and has a lot of features that people do like. I for one love how much storage it has. It doesn't do anything perfectly besides that, but it does do a lot that hasn't been done before. That alone makes it appealing as far as the market is concerned.

There is a lot of hate in here for this case. I own this case and would like to throw my two cents in. Its an amazingly spacious case, even with the huge glaring flaws of the 240 limitations. Separating the GPU into its own blade does amazing things for temps. The front blades are gimmicky, but its a not for everyone case. I loved it, preordered it. Its not like any other case I've ever worked in, owned, or even seen. This case is for the people who want to be different and not have to work too hard for it. Now for the real downsides that he didn't touch on, or he may not have encountered is the QA on the parts inside. My first one, the controller board for the RGB and fins died. The RMA, the PCI extension cable doesn't work. So in conclusion, if you love it, you are going to love it. If you don't, you won't. Just like a car. Some people buy a car to get to point a to b. Some of us choose and mod our vehicles to be extensions of ourselves.

To me it seems a case you'd spend time building a larger SLI system in with a lot of storage, one that you don't plan to upgrade anytime soon as is my case whenever I build. I'm a bit of a modder too so case issues like the mentioned PSU chamber features don't bother me at all as I'm a fabricator so I'd be happy to just make panels and brackets anyway.
