Hey Paul, the tempered glass on the side panels does come off. They're apparently held in by some pretty strong magnets so it takes a bit of effort. You can see it in the Kitguru review video.

@paulshardware6 жыл бұрын
$4800 is the current price for the components used (excluding the PSU cable extensions), which means that the Vega64 is $950 and the RAM kit is $400-ish. 😭

Well, it looks like a pretty modular case so if Deepcool would sell a spare drive cage it should be feasible. Pretty expensive and over the top for a server, but 2x9 3.5" drives plus a bunch of 2.5" devices would be plenty for most people:-)

I agree about the 5.25 inch drive bays. if the case is big enough to have them, then it should at least have one, or even two. I like having an optical drive in my PC whenever I happen to need one.

That is definitely a funky case. I wasn't expecting the front panels to articulate though. Wish that was in my budget to build on.
@BramSLI16 жыл бұрын
Paul, just something you might want to consider. Having that AIO mounted in that configuration could trap air in the pump/waterblock unit. That will make it become noisy later on and could also hinder performance and longevity of the unit. Other than it looks amazing!

@The-Weekend-Warrior4 жыл бұрын
Actually it's maybe a bit late, but I just ran across your video now... The front dust filters are magnet-hold so you can easily remove them for cleaning. Other small thought is that the recommended space for a radiator is in the front across. It can accomodate up to a 360mm radiator if you displace one of the fans.

@beavermatic6 жыл бұрын
Couple things I noticed incorrectley stated in this video... Tempered glass is magnetic and removable. It's just a extremely strong magnet. Second, it does support 280 & 360mm radiators. There's a 280/360 radiator mount in the rear of the case behind motherboard. The other side mounts are for 240mm.

Was that dual 80mm fan support I saw for exhaust on the mobo quadrant? Good place to put some of those $10 noctua redux fans. Also, do the front flaps only go through that sequence and close back up or can the user open/close them when they want (using some included feature instead of manually setting them either way).

Unique cases are interesting - it's a toss-up between cool and over.the.top. Can you do more Art case builds?
@WhiteSkyMage6 жыл бұрын
Yes it does, definitely. However I think i might need to get a little creative, cuz I do wanna fit a 480mm rad instead of a 360mm rad. The reason being is that I need to have enough cooling surface area so that I can cool 2 GPUs with 1 loop while the fans are at low RPM. For the CPU, i have another solution, it's still going to be watercooled, but I will use a watercooler WITHOUT a pump, which was shown at Computex and should be coming to market by the end of the year.

The side pieces should fit 360s, just very tightly, and may cause issues with getting to the thumbscrews for the back panel and may cause issues with the front fans. Edit: Of course they're not designed to, but the'res the space for them.
