I have the same one bought in 07, I had to lower the Water temp 165/175 for the Domestic as it over heated the Safety on the Water heater Gas valve . I had 4 zone Base Board Hydronic so no mixing needed. I did install a mixing valve for domestic 140 Deg water out the tap was a bit much. My whole System was home brewed and worked very well till 2019 When the house was replaced and I moved out taking the OWB with Me, Since My new place has in-slab Heat I lowered the temp even more 145/155 I do not need mixing valves at all And since the whole system is no-pressurised I do not need Heat separation Cept for the Domestic. My flat plate for the Domestic is close to the floor to get the most out of thermocycling and do not need to run a Pump to get it going. i remove the Drain from the bottom of the Water heater tank a plumbe the whole Ckit with 3/4" parts including a Filter rated for Hot water. The Filter keeps any Crud from getting in the Flat Plate. I wired the Front Light to the Damper Ckt with a blue C7 Bulb That lets Me know when the Damper was open I also had one in the house too.. With a Rifle scope I could see the Temp on the Love controller HAHAHAHAH Can not see it at My new place. It is so nice walking in bare feet on a warm floor HAHAHAHAH.... One thing I did at My new place is raise up the OWB 1+ Cinder blocks high So I did not have to lean over to put Wood in. being 6"4+ It was a face full of Smoke now it is so much nicer.

@@m9ovich785 I love the lightbulb connected to the damper circuit. The unending hot water is great . Must have been interesting moving the boiler? Glad you stopped by. 🔥🪵👍🏼😎🌴

@@MannistoCay I had a medium duty Wrecker pick it up and I backed my trailer under it then just the opposite at My new Place which was only 10 Miles.

Got one just like it in 2006 only not the titanium model. Mine is now in it's 19th season and I have a forced air blower burning wood only.

How's she goin'? With your easy access to wood, this type heater is the way to go, especially with a 25 year warranty!! It sure has a big firebox!! It'll be interesting how much wood you'll use this winter. Good that it has the capacity to do the house and the barn!! Take 'er easy!!
