So a better way to emulate the game show would be to have an actual set of 36 cases (there needs to be exactly that many). In those cases there are random hidden Pokemon with BSTs ranging from all the way from 175 - 700 (with 175 being wishiwashi and 700 being Arceus). At the beginning of each selection round, both players draw a random case number. They then get to each name a case to reveal, but they ONLY get to see its BST. They can then decide whether they want to say DEAL or NO DEAL to that pokemon, or whether they want to open a second case to see a new BST. But if they say NO DEAL to that, then they HAVE select the Pokemon in their randomly selected case, at which point the picks they missed out on are revealed. They can obviously evolve those Pokemon, so a low BST doesn't always mean bad. There would be a list of BST values that get crossed off as cases are opened just like on the real show. I think this would be a really entertaining format if y'all ran this concept back :)

I love the idea here. I think you could even expand on it by having the dealer offer things for example Manectric and you choose the ability or Muk and you can add an illegal move. And if you reject the deal whatever Pokemon you choose gets a negative effect. So many possibilities.

You guys should do this but rather then getting a random pokemon based on a box number your opponent should get to look at your mons and make you an offer based on what they see. So that way you can play bluff rather then just putting mid pokemon in all the cases
