It’s a pretty easy thing to forget in such a complex game state! Lots of end of turn/beginning of turn triggers that aren’t on Carl’s cards. While it’s both players job to maintain a legal game state, Jamin also should help Carl remember this trigger. Fantastic game! Super enjoyable to watch and both decks seem like a lot of fun!

@@wyvernofred there are budget options for all the expensive cards, not as strong but with an effect close enough to be playable. Hapatra is also fun to play in Commander (she's my favourite commander and my pet edh deck).

Been playing 8-Rack no Rack in Pioneer for about a year now. With Dominaria United we got huge upgrades like Liliana, Sheoldred and The Raven Man. You play alot of cards in this deck that people have probably never played against like Unburden and Liliana's Triumph. I really do recommend! I love alternate win conditions. Here is a deck that plays not one, but two of them. The creatures in the deck are there to block. But they draw a so they replace themselves in the hand. Eventually you sweep the board and crush them with card advantage. In fact this deck runs Clear the Mind just in case you draw your entire deck. It wins by either Approach, Triskaidekaphile or Ao Beatdown. This is wild. I homebrewed a Naya midrange for pioneer a couple of years ago, but it's nothing like this. Admittedly there's a bunch of newer cards in there, but I run Golden Goose, Sylvan Caryatid, Questing Beast, Courser of Kruphix. And the top end is Glorybringer or Sarkhan the Dragonspeaker because I can't decide between them.

Mono B devotion has been one of my favorite decks since last time it was viable in standard with underworld dreams, but the 4x Shrines and 4x Sheoldred are just crazy expensive right now. I'll need to wait until the shrine gets reprinted and sheoldred falls off a little. Great video though.
