Right on... I was looking at that spear gun thinking "WTF!" - all it would have taken is one unintentional twitch of the finger - and they would have had one less person to feed... Wow... Gr 21:16 eat video. I have spent a few weeks in Joe Sound years ago. Sad to see the wrecks in the background. I was surprised to see you navigate the cut on your way out. I have been through there several times on a monohull and it was super tight. Glad u made it safely BTW love the seawind. Had the opportunity to sail one in bvi yrs ago. We anchored out in the Hog Cay anchorage just last week, I can’t believe you made it in there via the south route! We draw 3’ 11” on our cat and I wasn’t comfortable! But we also chickened out to make it thru the Joe’s Sound cut! We have a 21’ beam and it just looked too sketchy!!! Must have just missed you guys!

What market did you go to, SHOP RITE, over by Eddie's Edgewater? We shop at the "Prime Island Meats, Deli and Grocery Store", near Darville's Lumber, by Hooper's Bay. Can't beat them, for meat and they have decent produce too. Especially their homemade breakfast sausage links. YUM!

Smaller Kings lend themselves to better eating typically. The larger ones have much darker meat and are as you characterize them "Fish Dip Worthy" If you do happen in the future to find yourselves with that type of King then you might want to consider a simple brine with brown sugar salt and a shot of dark rum for about 45 - to not more than a hour.

Inlighten me please ? During your sail you observed a wind speed of 23 knots and suggested you may have to put a reef in. Is that to slow the boat down, and what exactly is a reef in the sail…? Thanks
