Singapore ! One of the safest place but still have be be alert , why not try Sungei Buloh wetland reserves nature hike , do some island hoppin in Pulau Ubin , maybe dropped by Coney Island aka Serangoon Island if the weather holds up .. do not stand under a tree during a lightning storm in Singapore , it is not called lightning capital of the world for nothing ..one more to add , Chek Jawa wetlands probably an escape from concrete jungle but do look out for wildboars and crocodiles ..exciting huh?

Have been following you for over a year. Enjoy Singapore - lots of great local food to check out. If you like chicken rice, go to Maxwell Hawker Centre - the obvious is Tian Tian chicken rice but the queue is too long. Alternative is Ah Tai who was a disciple at Tian Tian. Others include Fu Shun Shao Lao #01-71 (great roast meat), Maxwell Fuzhou Oyster cake (a snack), popiah, rojak… the list goes on. Enjoy my country, you two!

hey guys, just wanted to lyk that haji lane is known more as a hipster-y, bar-y area than anything. it is in the muslim enclave, you’re right about that. but as far as i know, it’s more like chinatown or little india, where you’re there for food and shopping rather than living there. most malays (and therefore muslims) live where most singaporeans live in general - in public apartment buildings. there’s actually an ethnic integration policy that dictates the ratios of each race living in each block of apartments, to enforce mixing of races in communities
