Brilliant - thank you. A poem by Dorothea Mackellar written when she visited England in 1908 ............ The love of field and coppice, Of green and shaded lanes. Of ordered woods and gardens Is running in your veins, Strong love of grey-blue distance Brown streams and soft dim skies I know but cannot share it, My love is otherwise. I love a sunburnt country, A land of sweeping plains, Of ragged mountain ranges, Of droughts and flooding rains. I love her far horizons, I love her jewel-sea, Her beauty and her terror - The wide brown land for me! A stark white ring-barked forest All tragic to the moon, The sapphire-misted mountains, The hot gold hush of noon. Green tangle of the brushes, Where lithe lianas coil, And orchids deck the tree-tops And ferns the warm dark soil. Core of my heart, my country! Her pitiless blue sky, When sick at heart, around us, We see the cattle die - But then the grey clouds gather, And we can bless again The drumming of an army, The steady, soaking rain. Core of my heart, my country! Land of the Rainbow Gold, For flood and fire and famine, She pays us back threefold - Over the thirsty paddocks, Watch, after many days, The filmy veil of greenness That thickens as we gaze. An opal-hearted country, A wilful, lavish land - All you who have not loved her, You will not understand - Though earth holds many splendours, Wherever I may die, I know to what brown country My homing thoughts will fly. -- Dorothea Mackellar

I love the Dorethea Mackellar poem, but I want to put in a plug for this part of Banjo Patterson's poem Clancy of the Overflow: "And the bush hath friends to meet him, and their kindly voices greet him In the murmur of the breezes and the river on it bars, And he sees the vision splendid of the sunlit plains extended, And at night the wondrous glory of the everlasting stars" This is what I think of on those long Australian roadtrips

Dear Tia & Cheveyo, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love letter to my country. Never have I seen Australia's beauty so faithfully represented, from the rugged beauty of her landscapes, to the cultural idiosyncrasies (TIM TAM SLAM LET'S GOOOO). It is comforting to know that such a representation exists on the internet for all to see, to show all that Australia is more than dangerous heat, dangerous critters, and dangerous language. On another note, the tragic reality is that it is so easy to forget the majesty of the incredible country we live in. This love letter is not only a teaching tool for those outside Australia, but a valuable reminder for those inside. I'm glad you found this place like home. Here's hoping you can visit again someday. Love, An Australian P.S. Sweet postcard Tia.

Hi kids. Glad to hear from you again. I hope you choose to come once again to travel our great and remarkable land. On one of my trips around this country I stopped for a break whilst travelling across the perfectly flat featureless ( dead straight ) Nullarbor plain, only to walk into the saltbush scrub 100 metres from the road to discover all kinds of unexpected things at my feet. Seashells . . . Thousands of them in the loose dusty sandy soil. Millions and millions of years ago the entire Nullarbor plain was in fact the seabed. Tech tonic shifts in the island continent has raised the island continent leaving behind the great Australian Bite. It’s one thing to travel and see the sights. It’s another to look deeper with open eyes.

Just waiting to make the move , hopefully within the next few months. I think your dear cat's soul knew that you were going and decided to use that exit point to leave. No-one dies, we just transition. Some decide to reincarnate and many have for this monumental time in the universe's history with earth beings ascending at the same time as mother earth herself. Normally a planet's beings have to die (transition) leave the body before the ascension, but we are all going to experience 5D earth soon and our bodies are going to be changing while we are here to a certain percentage crystalline. As for your cat, he or she left to pursue another life or take a break from lives. As we live eternally, he or she is fine - we are eternal light and energy beings. The shell/vessel/avatar/body is not us -just needed in this 3D simulation. By the way a warm welcome to you when you finally make it here.

What a beautiful title for this episode. And you had me crying tears of so many emotions right from “Dear Australia”. You have been to many beautiful parts of our country, seen so many wonderful things, but sometimes it’s more about ‘the feeling’ isn’t it, a feeling that’s hard to describe and I know you truly felt that here. You already know how much we love you both and will be following you wherever you go, but I know we will see you back one day. I think Cape York wants to meet you 😊. Much love xxxx

I've loved every video of your Australia travels, it's amazing we still have parts of the world that remain relatively untouched also your camera work and drone shots give BBC documentaries a run for their money

I get why, especially Tia, loves Australia. The wide open spaces with few humans to get in her way.

You are two special people. I have watched you both present my country to so many people and you did it so beautifully! Thank you. I hope we see you back someday when you have tired of going walkabout. Tourism Australia could do much with your enthusiasm, honesty and videos! From "greater Sydney" country area near Camden/Picton (40 acres/horses). PS I can't believe you did most of the outback and bush walks in sandals.......??!!

Your videos about our country are the best I've ever seen online. You've done our country proud and I hope you can return and even make it your home.
