You're main problem with that idea would be the Filipino law that bans foreigners from buying land in the Philippines. This law was made to ensure that wealthy foreigners won't buy all the land in the country, ensuring that future generations of Filipinos can buy these lands which are reserve only for Filipino citizens

For that, the top recommended places to put up the business in would be El Nido, Coron, Nacpan, San Vicente, Palawan, Bohol, Siquijor, Siargao, Bantayan Island, Cebu or even south of Cebu, Camiguin near the white Beach Island, Laguna, Mindoro, Puerto Princesa, Boracay. These are the places that will explode or has a huge potential for more tourists in the future Whether you want a nice and quiet kind of resort or a touristy, in demand place for vacationers, you can check those places. he best of luck in finding the right spot for you guys.

I think the Philippine economy is growing at 6% + every year it's a good idea to invest. I just have a small lot (750 sqm) on the beach with white sand. In the future i wanna build a rest house when i get old and live there so that i can always see the ocean until i die.

May I suggest that you can combine the best of the Philippines and the U.S. For example, you can have a resto(s) in the resort that offers both really good adobo and lechon dishes, but at the same time great burgers and fries. Every country has laws and policies.. I'm sure before they enter into a decision, they study and ask questions about how and what to do. many processes ..there are laws that must be studied and followed. but I'm sure they have friends who will give advice and help them. I’ve been thinking about something like this myself, and one of the things I did research and found out that the best way to operate a business in the Philippines is to get a lawyer to set up a trust that has the property and the business associated to that and then you have higher a Filipino resident to be the operator of the trust and if that falls apart, for whatever reason, your lawyer could step in temporarily to be the executor of the trust

Glad to hear this. Though there are ways foreigners can do business in the Philippines, there remains the law that does not allow foreign ownership of businesses. On top of that are the unreliable legal advice that you might have the misfortune of paying for, potentially. Be careful. Research first before getting a lawyer, etc.

The Philippine tourism agency should look into people like yourself to help promote the country. As foreigners you’ve seen what would help attract people from elsewhere in the world. And the idea of locals traveling within the country is awesome if that can be made simple. You might want to look into permanent residency. Mike and Nelly (former partners/ vloggers of making it happen) applied since they spent so much time in Philippines and got residency. Things might be a bit easier when you have residency.

Good vision! We appreciate your desire to help the Philippines. I feel the same way. There are many beautiful places and beaches like the 100 Islands, Bataan is close to the New Airport, and Batangas near Manila. All on the main Island. It would be a good idea as well to include a hospital for Foreigners (Western Care Center). Just be extra careful when dealing with people. Your intentions are really good but be aware of people who will take advantage of you. Foreigners are easy targets especially if you're not familiar with the laws. Better to work with legit people from the government agencies. But even then be aware!

Your ideas are awesome. Consider my small hometown birthplace Dumaguete City. It is central to all the great tourist spots like Palawan, Cebu, Bohol, Siquijor, Boracay, etc. Last time I was back in PH, was back in 2018. Your videos inspire me to want to go back soon! 🙌🏝💙🇺🇲🇵🇭. I really enjoyed Palawan. If you could improve on the logistics like transportation, accomodations, tours, tour quiding, etc. based on your good and bad experiences from your travels, it would be awesome and set a great standard for PH tourism.

Hello,its nice to see you talk entousiastic about your dreams, I build a house here 2 years ago, tips , if you use concrete, make your own concrete blocks, if you use wood treat it good against insects, when building be there every day, to be unique be your own engeneer, dont raise salaries to make the workers work harder ore better, in a week they are used to it and all goes back to normal, build your own pool ( saves you 60%) succes💪

Travelling abroad to places like Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, or other Asian countries apart from the Philippines is more affordable. We Filipinos like to travel locally, but we cannot afford the high expenses. I have been to several places such as Zambales, Romblon, Iloilo, Baler, Baguio, Boracay, Pangasinan, and more, but most are accessible by land. I would like to visit Palawan, Coron, Bohol, Cebu, and other beautiful and amazing places that I know the Philippines has to offer. I hope I can make it someday without breaking the bank.
