Something I found out recently…Christian Bale is English! Never knew that and was GENUINELY impressed with his PERFECT Lancastrian accent in Le Mans ‘66 (as it was called in the UK, Ford vs Ferrari as it was in the US because, well, you know…if it didn’t have Ford in the Title then they’d have thought it was a subtitled French film or some shizz I guess). I mean, even for a Southernish Englishman, it’s still a tricky one to nail, but, since finding out, my mind was actually more blown by the amount of American he’s able to achieve in all his other stuff 😅
