A few days ago I was watching the animated series THE LAST AIRBENDER and I realized that you physically look a lot like Azula!! You have that characteristic bearing of a woman with a lot of character, that defiant look and a dominant attitude... I love that character in the series and I think you would play Azula very well in a movie with real actors!!❤️🌹😆

"Most of the productivity techniques are based on the assumption that a person can almost always control their productivity. In reality, its impossible because our will power is limited" Ruri, you are so real for saying this. This is not controversial at all. Its very true, you cannot manage time but manage your energy and focus! Which resonates with our philosophy so I am very happy to see someone talk about it too! Honestly, huge. 😳🔥

I think the problem today is the excess of tasks and objectives, we are not biologically programmed to deal with so many things. The problem is not with us, but with the system based on a sedentary lifestyle, which replaced nomadism and hunting and gathering. Task minimalism is the way to avoid going crazy.

What I learned running a business and also doing amateur body building on the side, is that, willpower and motivation are not limitless. You cannot power through for a long period of time solely on willpower. This is where discipline and habits comes in. When you embark on a new endeavor, you need to use that starting motivation and willpower to develop habits. It takes on average about 30 days of persistence to develop a habit. Once you do, you stick to it. Using discipline. When eventually your willpower subsides, or you're just going through a rough patch and cannot focus on something, you lean on your already established healthy habits using discipline. This approach changed my life completely. In all aspects.
@ShadowMakesSomeArt6 ай бұрын
That's so true, i also believe using that logic we increase our willpower, and by some time of sticking to those habits you will actually enjoy doing what you're doing more and more.
@MichelLedig5 ай бұрын
This is true but psychology already showed up that different humans have different adherence to habits. This implies that for some, discipline will forever be a struggle with will power. Imagine on the old times. If just Everyone was so adequate to habits and stuff we would never leave our first village. Im just saying this is a spectrum and i myself with a harsh level of tdah knows that trying to support my systems based on discipline is a promise to failure But nice comment hope u doing great

I totally agree with the video. Two things I can highlight: 1. Finding your chronotype is a trial of success and error. 2. It must be recognized, the human brain focuses on something as well as defocuses on something. In conclusion, we are not machines (for a time I was like that). Therefore we have to dose our pending things in a healthy way to obtain better results. 👍😅

Thank you Ruri Ohama. I like your breakdown of different types of people, Bear, Lion, etc. Although I don't see myself fitting into one of those types, I have over the years, figured out what times I am most affective. One, thing I would like to add is that I find my maximum productivity is when other people are not interrupting me. I do very well working before 9:00 am and after 4:00 pm because I am less likely to be interrupted by emails and phone calls. If I have an urgent project to get completed I will usually work on it between 4:00 Pm and 10:00 pm

Tarot reading for Ruri Ohama: 1)How you feel about yourself = (Wheel of fortune) "You feel due for a bit of good luck or indeed are experiencing some at the moment. The Wheel of Fortune is a card of destiny. What is happening now we could call fate, so if positive things are happening with your love life, career or finances this is no coincidence." 2)What you want most right now (Temperance) "Temperance suggests you are craving some peace and harmony, a sense of control and wish to feel that life is flowing again. Perhaps you have been, or are currently going through some tough times regarding a relationship, financial worries or some other kind of loss. Take heart that peace will be restored - this is a time for you to be calm and patient and life will soon have a sense of normality again." 3)Your fears (The High Priestess) "You are feeling uneasy and insecure, something in your gut is saying "be careful, all is not as it seems" - something just doesn't feel right. Delay any decisions or actions until you have answered your concerns." 4)What is going for you (The Emperor) "You are self-assured and more than capable of influencing people or events to achieve what you want. What's more, support and guidance from your father, husband/partner or another man of significance in your life is there for the asking. Make the most of your resources." 5)What is going against you (the star) "This is a period of tension and frustrations: you feel pessimistic and fearful that your hopes will be dashed. Any bad luck you may be having is primarily down to your self-doubt and negativity. Have faith that your luck will change." 6)Your future (the moon) "Whilst you are confused and fearful and allowing your anxieties to hold you back, trust that all will turn out well in the end. Things may seem tough or confusing but stick with it, it's right for you. The Moon is a good omen if you are in a clandestine affair and helps guide you to open your mind to new and unexpected possibilities".

I suggest people do a basic daily planner. Don't write what you're going to do, write what you already did at what time. You'll see a pattern, and go from there. No need to assume your chronotype. Just figure out your own individual biological self. Take notes, text yourself or your email of when you had impulses of creativity at what time and note if you were in situations you couldn't pursue them like at work or super late at night. I believe this dynamic is fluid and we do have influence over our brain and body's clocks. It's all mental habit. You listen to a song at lunch, it will be in your head again an hour later or on the way home from work/school. We are cyclical like that. You can use this understanding to realize if you study every day at the same time, it will generate that impulse in your mind and body.
