There was a point during the game (actually several) where all the England players were stood motionless, looking at each other. Nobody running to make triangles ... nothing. It usually resulted in a pass to Pickford who launched it to the Slovakian midfield. Pathetic lack of effort. Just RUN FFS!!!! Give the guy on the ball some options.

Literally nearly every team in the tournament are just better organised than us. I don't know why England always come into these tournaments and the players just look lost in terms of where they're meant to be on the pitch. So the football ends up just looking sloppy and we've had to rely on a clutch moment yesterday to get us out of jail. We play like we have been against the swiss then they're just gonna take us apart.

I really really don't understand what the obession with full back position is. The reason we have been so unbalanced on the left is we have a player in foden, who drifts into no.10 does no tracking back and when he receives the ball in the left wing position, without fail turns back and passes it backwards and can't take players on on the wing. Of course Trippier exacerbates this issue. but the main issue is Foden i.e left wing... not full back!. We need Foden to be benched and used as supersub for the rest of the tournament. For me as a starter he doesn't give England anything.

Southgates England is set up ExACTLY the same as Bruces time at NUFC at are just as awful. Newcastle were the worst team in the country when Bruce left. We had no left back and Bruce had the revelation to play two false 10's. NUFC sat deep, were ponderous on the ball and had one tactic - get the ball to Saint Maximin- so he should be praising Southgate 😂
