As you can see in some of my ( home grown ) videos, I have 26 " Ludwig bass drums and heads are far and few between. Powersonic is actually 2plys of 7mil & 5mil. He got the mil info wrong.

The PowerStroke 3, PowerStroke Pro, and Ambassador are all the same weight. The Ambassador is no more fragile than the other single ply, pre dampened heads.

For me the p3 fiberskyn is the Best one, you can have that vintage sound, but at the same time a punchy sound deppending the tune

Gabe Romero it had no tone. A very dampened head on the kick I used it on.
