And bring their two stroke back. Like Honda, they could start where they left off, I think the ‘06-‘07 RM250’s were some of the best offerings.

How is it for a 210# guy? I want the smaller displacement to reduce arm pump but I also don't want to have to ride it as hard as I can to make all the jumps. Thanks

I love the way the rmz rides. Very easy to use all of it. Wish they would just add electric start.

@@markgaudreau8053 dude was just like 750 bucks of suspension work you can make this bike just as good if not better suspended than the others. Then take into account that you can get them some places for the $4,000 less than say a KTM 450.

@trav3510 trav3510 that would be nice along with e start. I really want to buy an rmz but the lack of e start throws me off, considering the husky I had prior had one. It's crucial for getting back into a heated moto under pressure.

@@Jib223 I think that's why I hear its best for a "newer rider" maybe not doing those hardcore motos. But its still possible!

On any bike you buy Rule #1 have the suspension re-done for you. Rule #2 have the suspension re-done for you. Rule #3 have the suspension re-done for you. Then you can look at fine tuning the rest of the bike for you

Bingo. I put the correct springs in mine (for my weight/ability) and the chassis is not nearly as harsh as people make it out to be.

Don't mess with valving, unless u are a pro racer. Most find that dropping one spring rate on shock n fork, solves the suspensoin drama. Great bike for those wanting to go out and enjoy a day of riding

People are so lazy and spoiled with technology hating a bike because it doesn’t have electric start. Guess what when your battery dies out in the middle of nowhere my trusty kickstart will get me back home. The rmz is an awesome bike.

At 6'3" 210, vet class, am I too big and old to enjoy it? I want the smaller displacement for reducing arm pump, but I also don't want to have to ride the piss out of it everywhere just to clear all the jumps. I know I know get better and faster etc.. but I kinda like cruising a little and still enjoying the obstacles at my age

I’d like to know more about ecu settings. I’ve had a play around and also felt the aggressive settings weren’t any good. I’ve added a twinair power flow kit to eliminate the screen on the filter and adds more snappiness. I’d love to know if a yoshi rs-12 would help with stretching the power out to the top end. Maybe slightly richening the ecu and playing with ignition timing
@tcmx7123 жыл бұрын
Could you do the kx250 trick and mix the ignition timing of the aggressive map with the fuel flow of the mellow map. Seemed to work for that bike???
@Marty-4163 жыл бұрын
Have you noticed more engine braking with the powerflo kit?
@Cl4rky3 жыл бұрын
@@Marty-416 nah no increased engine braking. Just a subtle increase in throttle snappiness. Thinking a pipe and tune will help stretch the power out and decrease engine braking
@Seth505Seth3 жыл бұрын
I'm running the aggressive map, with no screen, cut side panels and Yoshimura exhaust. The bottom/mid is impressive. I'm actually going to switch to a GET ignition with custom mapping and that'll help even more.
@Cl4rky3 жыл бұрын
@@Seth505Seth I was looking into cut side panels but I kept a keen eye on all the top Suzuki teams and noticed none have the triangles cut so I figured if they ain’t doing it there probably isn’t much to be gained. But how’s your thoughts on them? And I’m hearing you can’t go past switching up to a vortex.
