We make safety and performance mods to our 1980s death machine, the Honduki. It started life as a Suzuki Quad Sport 230 that someone had begun swapping a SOHC Honda CB750 engine into. We finished up the job and got it running, but in today's video we install new tires, new rear brakes, replace front wheel bearings, install a new ignition system, and more, and take the Honduki for a full send!

You should put a thumb throttle on it, make it a bit more controllable, maybe stretch the rear swingarm too

If you widen the rear a little (wheel spacers), lengthen the swing arm 6 inches, and widen the front track (longer arms) by like a foot you should avoid further hospital visits and still own the Busco Beach drags :-)

you really need to get a thumb throttle on that. Too much power for a twist throttle, when the power kicks in at full twist it's next to impossible to let it off without letting go

I agree, I have been an avid snowmobiler for years. it makes it so you can hang on to the handle bars better. and because your wrist only goes so far back. you don't have to have your elbow facing the ground to achieve full throttle. I don't use twist grip throttle set ups any more.

GET A THUMB THROTTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At anything higher then a crawl you wont be able to lift off the throttle very easily unless you over relax/let go of your grip, even more so over rough/bumpy terrain at speed! @CarsandCameras

Just a suggestion on breaking the bead on those tires. Get a pair of heavy duty ratcheting clamps to squeeze the tire and break the bead.

The Honduki Is by far the best project you guys worked on. and it's my favorite project. it should have nerf bars around the foot pegs. and get rid of that twist throttle and put a thumb throttle on it. and put a starter button on it. the Honduki is a serious monster. and I would would really love to go for a rip on that wild animal. it's just the kind of machine I like. the kind that scares the shit out of a person. it's such a shame that Ike got hurt on it. but when Ike gets well. and you guys revisit it you will want to be wearing some really leathers, and pads, and safety gear. and I can't wait to see it scream. you guys didn't even get it into fourth gear. so I know it's the fastest project that You have. and it's going blister the grandprix times. and it will be unbeatable at Bosco Beach on the drag strip. this project has inspired me to build one exactly like it. the quad chassis should be easy enough to find. but a decent 750 four Is going to be harder. but I'm in the process of locating all the parts. I can't wait until I get get all the components and parts together and I can finish it. and go scare the crap out of myself.

Maybe make it, 6 in or so wider. It's a lot more capable than it originally. With 750 CC's it's so different than it originally was, and no need to navigate narrow Forest trails, with it anymore. Be safe out there and keep up the good work!
