As someone who has watched every day of the Depp vs Heard trial live, I think I should make clear why this trial is so important to Johnny. According to him, one of the worst consequences of the op-ed was that his CHILDREN were constantly harassed by people asking whether or not their father is a wifebeater. Just imagine how it would make you feel as a child. He emphasized that most importantly he is doing this for his children. Honestly, it makes me very emotional to see Johnny on the stand willing to admit to doing many bad things related to drug use etc. I wonder if someone who sues wrongfully or out of spite would admit to all those things... I think not. I do admit his language is very vulgar and the most sensitive people could get hurt by his words, but after watching the whole trial so far it is so clear from his history that I can't believe he could possibly physically hurt a woman. However, Johnny's case MAY not be as strong as it seems (when it comes to legal details, i.e., the definition of DV), but it looks like Johnny just wants to let everyone know what happened. However, if Johnny wins, I think it would send a strong message to other victims of DV who have been falsely accused by their partners. We don't talk enough about male victims of abuse... Amber even said on a video something like "Boohoo, Johnny Depp, a male victim of abuse, go tell them and see who believes". If that doesn't tell you she's a manipulative, despicable woman I don't know what does. I hate to say this (as all victims should be believed to some degree) but Amber used the MeToo campaign as an opportunity to lie and demolish Johnny's career.

@@celestepixie4528 That’s called reactive abuse and it’s not out of the ordinary for victims to eventually abuse back when they’ve had enough and the abuser then switches it on their victim and gaslights them into thinking they’re the perpetrator. I’m sorry you had to go through that and I hope you know you’re not at fault and you were justified in your reactions to protect yourself. I’m glad you got out and wish you all the healing ❣️ As far as Johnny, thing is there’s no proof of him physically abusing her like she’s claimed and there’s a mountain of proof in their audio recordings of Johnny always running away during arguments to deescalate and get away from Amber’s violence. That’s literally the thing that would set her off even more. She flipped every fight they had on him when everyone around them saw the opposite, like her claiming Johnny held her hostage in Australia when she threw the vodka bottle at him and severed his finger and had him locking himself in rooms to get away from her

For the infamous family segment - in my family, my mom ordered pizza for a party from a place called “Pizza Now” and asked my dad to pick it up. However, he went to Little Caesar’s which is on the same street about a minute away from Pizza Now. They both have the same kind of policy of “hot and ready,” but Pizza Now is a local chain. My dad went in to the Little Caesar’s, asked for the pizzas for our party to which the store employee replies that they don’t have an order for us. He then gets annoyed at the employees and exclaims “what is this, pizza now or pizza later?!” And I can only imagine how frantic the employees felt and brought him out pizzas as fast as they could. He then comes home and tells the story and my mom, all confused tells him he was supposed to go to Pizza Now. He then hauled his ass back to Pizza Now and we had double the pizzas. It’s legit something we always say when ordering pizza now. 😂 My dad is legitimately a character. He says the weirdest shit, so tbh he is the embodiment of the infamous family incident.

if you watch the entire testimony, he's talking like that because he's recounting a massive series of abuse he endured. he speaks slowly, he takes his time, he's not making a spectacle. even when discussing how she destroyed his finger (the picture looks like the tip exploded) and how she put a cigarette out on his face during filming of Pirates 5. It's really awful. you should watch longer sections than just this. it's actually a pretty big deal, with a woman claiming abuse when all along she was seriously physically abusive herself.
