First time i see your Channel but seeing your family moving to the north of my country reminds me of my great grand father when he left Germany after the poverty and destruction WW1 and also my Grandmother Half sister's Father who also left Austria for the same reason and stablishing themselves in Nueva Segovia from Scratch. I got nostalgic because now i live in the 🇺🇸 and your video made me remember them dearly, Saludos and Bienvenida. I hope you get used to the country and adapt quick. Lots of English, French, Dutch and German ppl migrated to that part of the country in times of the California Gold Rush.

Very beautiful country… We only stay in Rancho Santana which is in Rivas and it's not a cheap place to stay in. Mostly westerners in there with lots of money and they pay in cash. Four restaurants, resort, spa, everything you can imagine even its own medical facility and school and Place of worship. Tough to beat. If you're on a budget that will not do the trick. Prices are similar to South Florida unfortunately. I know because I live in South Florida. Good luck and I might be visiting in March of this year and living there within the next couple of years depending on what happens to our country. People there are the best

Buying property in Nicaragua? Lots of beautiful properties in Nicaragua. However, no one talks about the growing elephant in the room. Nicaragua is going the way of Cuba and Venezuela. Buying a property is easy and cheap. Keeping the property is another thing. I’m now in the fifth year of a lawsuit to restore my ownership of a family property that was stolen by a Nicaraguan using a forged power of attorney. The court system is slow or unresponsive and subject to arbitrary decisions. Think long and hard before buying real estate in Nicaragua. Caveat emptor!

With all the respect that you deserve, it is clear that you do not know the history of Nicaragua and that you have never lived it. Nicaragua has its own culture and idiosyncrasy. a small example with the American brothers. despite the attitude of the American government (Washington DC) towards Nicaragua. Never in the history of NIcaragua has there been any negative feeling towards the American people, they have always been received very well and with human warmth (a characteristic of NICA being hospitable). WE ARE A HARD-WORKING AND HONORABLE PEOPLE. Large food producer in Central America, with super fertile lands of volcanic origin. Nicaragua produces more than 90% of all the food it consumes. Something that many countries cannot say about, including immensely rich countries. There is a boom in the construction of hospitals, roads, infrastructure in general. A small sample of how Nicaragua is progressing. Unfortunately, nothing is said about this abroad, there is a lot of misinformation. Nicaragua is not Venezuela and it is not Cuba. Each country has its own history, culture and its own reality. Have a nice day. BLESSINGS
