I don't want to judge anybody or pick sides, but I'm really confused on that "I had feelings for him and he didn't correct me" part. From what you are saying in the video he made it clear that he is polyamorous, so him having another partner shouldn't be a surprise I'd say, but ok, I get it, he said he was single so you didn't expect it at the time...I can understand that. But what I don't understand is the fact that he was supposed to correct you when you caught feelings for him? Like...how is that his responsibility? If you knew he is polyamorous and wasn't ok with it...shouldn't you correct your own behavior then? Why should be someone else correcting you or making you aware of your own feelings, I don't understand. Please don't take this as an insult or anything, I just genuinely don't understand that part of the video.

I literally had to ask him repeatedly before he admitted he was in a monogamous relationship the entire time. He could have clarified when he flirted with me back, when I made it clear I liked him. I’ve done the same with my friends if I felt they might be getting romantic feelings for me outside of the boundaries I’ve set. I also would ask him for clarification. He would tell me he was single.

First i’d like to say that it’s horrible that you’ve had to experience SA. I cannot understand what it felt like or how it made you feel to be a SA victim. But however, you state in your video that SA victims shouldn’t have to bring evidence into the situation because they always speak the truth. Sorry, but I really don’t agree to that. Manipulation is in many forms, as we could have seen in the trial Depp Vs Heard. For both parties to be safe you should always bring evidence with a SA claim to police. That way we make sure we separate victim from offender, or if they have been falsely accused. Here in the Netherlands you can’t just post a video like this and not expect to be answering to police about a “false” accusation. True or not true. Also I think you are an adult. You are responsible for your own boundaries. That means you have to state them out loud. And especially because you have experienced SA you should have said something to James. He can’t read your mind and even could have misunderstood your body language. Because you know, we are human and we make mistakes sometimes? Also when I see James in his video’s I can’t see the person you girls describe him to be. And you can easily answer that it’s edited. Sure. It could be. But I also see a guy who is extremely charismatic, humorous, thoughtful and quick of tongue (quick with words). I can see how some situations can quickly overcome you because of his character. But does this mean it’s SA? No, certainly not. The way i see it, you are both adults. Talk about how you feel, what did the situation do to your well-being? This way he could not have misunderstood you. You have to make your boundaries clear. And what I think is questionable is your answer to only Golden’s video after she made a statement about James. So if the statement was not there, would you have thought differently about James? I think you would have. Please reconsider what you are doing to him and talk to him about what “happened” with you and explain to him what made you think like this after Golden’s statement. I think he deserves a explanation. I’d like to end this message with I would always support SA victims. But if we want the world to be safe, we have to be sure we don’t falsely accuse someone. So don’t play your own judge. Let the police do the investigation and let the jury and judge be the rulers of justice.

To have those traumas and to have people doubt or disbelieve is not the way the world should be and I hope for a day when every victim is treated with the dignity and respect that they so rightfully deserve. I spent mot of my life hiding the things that were done to me as a child, somehow feeling like it was my fault and it was deserved, but that was never true and never should I have doubted myself. I'm seeing a lot of emotional exchanges happening in this comment section and would like to weigh in. Matters of sexual assault strike near to me, and I've had years to educate myself on these types of situations specifically. Story time: The first time I had sex, it was with a person who I thought was my friend. I thought I could trust this person. As a fellow student at my university who I had talked with, hung out with, and enjoyed time with, I never thought someone like this would take advantage of me. When my SA occured, I was too drunk to consent, had no desire to engage in sexual relations with this person, and was taken advantage of anyway. In my stupor, my body simply did what it's biologically programmed for in that situation. It took me 2 years and hours of therapy to realize what that situation was; rape. At the time, I have no doubt it was done NOT with malice or for some sick power trip, but simply a misguided attempt at seduction that left me feeling violated and disgusted with myself. At the time, I had never known any man who had been assaulted in this way. I have coped with my trauma, and am now at a point where I am no longer haunted by this event, thanks to the incredible power of therapy. I've shared my story many times as a male victim of sexual assault perpetrated by a woman, as these instances make up a small minority of all SA cases. My thoughts and feelings on the matter have shaped my beliefs around the power of consent and establishing proper, enforced boundaries, and I believe these are the cornerstones of healthy sexual relationships. I say all this to give important context into who I am. My thoughts come from a place of education, empathy, and humility. We humans are capable of both deep, vast feeling and powerful, logic based thought. During my time on the internet, I have seen many comments made in ignorance, made in hatred, and made as knee-jerk reactions to things people don't agree with. It is my belief that most of the time, the comments you see on Instagram, tiktok, or KZbin follow this pattern of emotional reaction. It is truly disheartening to see. In matters of SA, the ideology most accepted by modern society it to believe the victim and condemn the perpetrator. In matters of law, at least in the US, all peoples are innocent until proven guilty. This is where these two ideologies clash. On one hand, you have a victim of SA warning the world of a dangerous predator who is taking advantage of others outside of herself. She feels the need to step forward and share her story as a cautionary tale in the hopes that what happened to her will never happen to anyone ever again. On the other, you have a man accused of a heinous crime desperately trying to prove his own innocence by providing a number of receipts, data, and his own personal anecdotes to do so. Two sides, one story, and only a scarce few possibilities. One of these peoples is lying, at least, to some degree. People want to believe that the world operates in black and white, when in reality it is hardly so simple. No one is infallible. There are those who are truly good, but are capable of great harm, and those who are truly evil, who are capable of helping others. The world operates in shades of gray, 99.99% of the time. Give your support, withhold your condemnations, at least until the matter is resolved. I am not going to share my direct opinion on the situation as my thoughts truly do not matter considering I do not know these people, but I ask this of each and every one of you; Be kind, be empathetic, and if not that, then at least sympathetic, and finally, think critically and think often.

And nothing happened to him, eventually he transferred to another store. But sometimes I see him there since he's a salesman. I get all tense and just walk the other way when I see him.

Maisie, you’re the reason I heard about this, this video in particular. I saw the notification and I immediately assumed the worst when I heard the words “Paladin Project” at the beginning, and unfortunately I was right. I watched through all of Golden’s video and while I am eternally grateful that he didn’t do to you what he did to her and so many others, it makes what he did do to you and then no less impactful and no less disgusting. I cannot put into words how horrific it is to find out someone that I looked up to as a role model is a manipulative bastard, but his actions won’t go unpunished any longer. I highly doubt you’ll see this, but if you do, then know that at least one of us is, if not all of us, doing everything possible to spread the word and make sure that Golden’s and all the other survivors’ voices are heard. To anyone else reading this, please do the same. Repost Golden’s video on tiktok, duet it, copy the links and comment, and do it for every other creator that shares their story about what this scumbag did to them. As Maisie said, amplify their voices. They deserve to be heard and seen and to have their abuser brought to justice

Hearing these stories about Golden and Maisie just reminds me of my actions from last summer when I sexually harassed three women at my job. I thought I was just funny and friendly, but it turned out to be unacceptable behavior. I deeply regret my actions and I am struggling with suicidal thoughts.
