You don’t need a opal card - all forms of transport( busses, trams, ferry etc) in Sydney accept and credit or debit card to tap on or off .

Hi John. I allow 3 nights before a cruise but that’s just me. I have been to Sydney before and found heaps to do. If it’s once in a lifetime type trip you may want to stay longer. I am not a travel agent so can only speak for myself but my next trip will be 3 nights before a cruise again. We love to visit Queen Victoria Building and there is a Westfield is just across the road with the observation tower attached. I haven’t seen the zoo yet but hear it’s good. I also enjoyed the Powerhouse Museum many years ago. The Opera House was closed for renovations last time so we couldn’t go in so hoping to on our next visit coming up soon. Hope that helps with your planning.

great video :) i love sydney, wish i could go there more often. i always get emotional getting on a cruise ship and shed a tear hehe just the thought of being onboard makes me very sensitive after fighting cancer 3 times and the fact that we had so so many cruises and holidays cancelled from the pandemic. so to be able to travel now means everything to me :) i dont know how many times i will beat cancer so dont know how many more opportunities i will have to travel with my loved ones.

What Ports did your Cruise Port Stop Port of Calls like Melbourne, Auckland New Zealand???? Please let me know What Ports you went to That you Started your Cruise in Sydney or Countrys you Port at???? I woukd like to Visit Australia and New Zealand Cruises and Posibly Land Packaging!!!!
@palmersonholiday6 ай бұрын
We cruised from Sydney to the South Pacific on that trip. If you check out my other vlogs in the series it shows what we had planned and where we went. Sometimes ports of call don’t always go to plan and that was one of those trips. We are revisiting a similar itinerary soon so make sure you are subscribed to see if this one goes to plan and what we end up doing. If you are travelling from far afield definitely allow some time for both cruising and land. Both countries have lots to offer.
