If you go to Oahu, I would recommend doing Pearl Harbour with the Arizona Memorial and visit the Dole Plantation for dole whip ice cream with fresh pineapple, and look for the rainbow bark trees at the entrance. Oh and don’t forget to try the freshly roasted honey macadamias. Enjoy.

In Chicago I strongly recommend the Architectural boat tour on the Chicago river & brunch / dinner at the Signature Room at the top of the John Hancock Center. Incredible.

Sounds like a great trip! We did LA May 2023 with 6 nights in Hawaii, we did 3 nights in the Embassy suite ok Kapolei on Oahu to do sure seating and then 3 nights at the Aulani to just enjoy the resort. The Embassy suites had an awesome breakfast - lots of choices and a happy hour in an evening with free alcoholic and soft drinks and snacks. We did Waimea falls, sharks cover beach, secret beach, the movie tour like you’re planning to do, pearl harbour, Matsumoto shave ice. It is just a beautiful Island!!

We always ate President butter on French bread when we'd visit our French grandparents and thought it was so good. At the time, we couldn't find President butter here in the States, but now you can. I love it.

Wonderworks is brilliant. We loved MNSSHP - we got 3lb of candy 🍬 and loved getting on the rides with no or little queues. I can’t wait to see your California vlogs- it’s sounds very exciting.

Try a visit to Dollywood and places nearby there. I went last year with a group of friends and had a blast. Great food and people there plus went on a fun mountain coaster called Goats on the Roof. Though there are many others around there as well as other things to do if you wish

Its less spreadable because it has less oil added so a nicer spread. During lockdown it was one of the few block butters you could get and I did a lot of baking and jam making. Never made jam before but if it was a fruit I jammed it, also made amazing marmalade

Aquatica is a great water park. We always find shade if you go to the kids area and then walk towards the entrance to the fast river there are always shaded spots there. Plus you can use the river as a way to get round the park without walking 😂

We will be doing the seaworld/discovery cove deal next week - if thats when you are there we hope to run into you! We jumped at the deal at the beginning of the year - for Americans it was $190 with tax - so cheap we splurged for a covered chair at Discovery Cove.

I do rolls like this, oven to 400, slice in halves, butter each side, put in oven till lightly brown. Eat. I never eat the sides together like a sandwich. About 8 min. Your trips sound amazing and that soup sounds delicious.

Get a soup maker way easier and quicker save loads of time. Bung it all in and a veg stock cube and water 20-25 minutes all done no faffing ready to eat usually get 4/5 portions. I had suggested le puy du fou in France when you asked for things to do, it is a fantastic themed park, no rides just shows but it is absolutely out of this world, I’ve never seen a bird show that tops their bird show. It’s so worth a visit, may need to do it over 2 days.

I didn’t quite hear when you guys are doing the West Coast trip next year, but I remember when you guys came the last time and wanted to go to death Valley it was flooded out… Just keep in mind two things if you come between December and March, that is really the best time to go however, the chances of it being flooded out are high… and if you come between June through October you’re gonna deal with really high temperatures… And as you know, it’s a lot different out here than it is in Florida… I can personally deal with humidity more than I can deal with this dry sauna heat… hopefully next year it won’t be as bad as it has been this year but this year literally from the beginning of June all the way through now it’s been extremely hot…

OMG I just went to the Oregon beach where Twilight & Goonies was filmed a couple weeks ago. And I live about 2 hours from Jackson Hole…Jenny Lake is beautiful. You can hike the lake & take boat back. Glacier National Park is beautiful too if you have time to hit Montana. Also I’m in Europe now watching this vlog from Florence. I just left Portugal. I thought Lisbon was overrated-big dirty city. Algarve Region was nice.
