Oh, like he is some Prince Charming? He cheated too, and he didn't even have the balls to admit it, until he got caught. Now, he has a child in her belly, and once again, he is being a selfish coward and not stepping up to support HIS BABY or his girlfriend. He is not worthy of being called a soldier. He has no honor at all. He would rather be selfish and take $6000 from her, when she is about to have his baby and not support her in any way whatsoever, as a single mother. Fortunately, it looks like his friend is stepping up and doing his duty, despite NOT being the child's father.

Judge Lake is to the point in this court BUT I prefer her more in the paternity court. She showed her humane side there; more than the don’t-mess-around-with-me judge here. So the young soldier cheats on her first, and he DOES NOT confess his affair, he gets caught in it when his fiance finds the other lady's lingerie. But she forgave him and they continued their engagement, with a plan of getting married. Now, he's gone off to active duty, and she cheats on him, with the guy he assigns to take care of her in his absence, and that is what compels him to break their engagement. So its OK for him to cheat, but when she does it, that's just bad form? When his friend cheats with his girl, he's bad, but when HE cheats, himself, he's still a good guy? How does THAT make sense? He told his friend...another active duty MALE soldier...to take care of his girlfriend while he was gone. Sounds to me like that's exactly what he did...only he didn't do it the way the plaintiff wanted him to, and she was probably lonely one night, and hormonal, and there we go. He kept her company, he brought her food, he brought a crib for her expected baby....they got a little heated. Why couldn't he ask a FEMALE friend of hers to look after her while he was away on active duty? Or her mother? or a sister? or ANYONE that was a trusted female friend? Why did it have to be a young male friend that had that responsibility? And now, you adamantly state, you want nothing to do with this young lady and the child is not yours and you just want all your money from the cancelled wedding. Unfortunately, young man, the baby IS yours. So you have a duty, as this child's father, to step up and support your baby, whether you choose to marry her or not. I would say 'Congratulations', but I don't think you would appreciate it. Its time for you to grow up and be a man now.
