@fictionfan72232 жыл бұрын
Yup. United States of America's school system definitely does not offer geography as a class nor does it offer any classes that teaches us about other countries and cultures. The closest I've gotten to learning about other places is random trivia that I most definitely always loose, TV and tik tok. Sometimes the information I learn from these things aren't true, but it's always interesting to learn. I always like learning about different cultures and countries when I get to, but my knowledge is definitely limited and I definitely consider myself stupid when a topic like this is brought up. I feel like other countries have more academically inclined people because they have so much knowledge about different places and languages (which I definitely envy)

@ThaniaAbigail2 жыл бұрын
you are totally right! but in all honesty it isn't completely our fault, the school system just sucks. from 1st to 5th grade we only ever learned about Texas. and then after that we only learn basically about America until we graduate

@@ThaniaAbigail Now this explained, why the vast majority of Americans. are in disbelief, when someone from central or south america. also claim to be Americans. teaching is not aimed at the world, but that there is america and a world outside of it. but they don't explain how the world is, and that it doesn't revolve around the United States.
