@@viktorv22 its a common minigame in several games. it's not novel or anything in particular. In Discrete Mathematics/Programing, its called the Hamiltonian path, as the purpose of it is finding the logic to get to every vertex(space in the case of games) only once. Pokemon and the Legend of Zelda will use it at times for puzzles.

@@viktorv22 If you still wanna remember where this pathway puzzle appeared in Genshin: - It first appeared in 1.4's Windblume festival, it was the falling platforms minigame - Serai Island had a smaller, simpler version of the puzzle sprinkled around - There was maybe a version in Enkanomiya if you count the moving walls that needed certain day/night - Edit: chirp and lucas are correct; Sprinkled around the Vourukasha Oasis, home of the Pari, you play as Sorush following the flower bulbs

So this confused me so I just looked it up and it says “second from the left means start at the farthest left place in the line, display or whatever, then count two places towards the other end” so if you start at 1 for example then count two places right then you end up at 3 which means Connor was right.

Dunno if someone will be interested in it, but puzzle with spiders is solved by finding the node ('spider', in our case) with the most amount of connections and putting it at the edge of the screen, thus allowing the other nodes to be placed without the lines getting intersected. Thank you, that Nancy Drew game, for giving me a trauma with a similar puzzle

That doesnt work. For example, if there's a square with a point in the middle, and all points are connected, then that point has to go in the middle

@@icodestuff6241 Well, we can consider the figure that you provided as a puzzle with 5 nodes, where the middle one is connected to every node and other 4 nodes are connected to the middle one PLUS two adjacent nodes. You certainly can put the node with the most amount of connections at the middle and place the others around it, but usually when nodes have unequal amount of connections, it becomes really hard to crack the puzzle, so it's more a matter of preference (Also, the puzzle that the boys had to solve was to free the elf girl from spider web, and the boobas were placed right at the middle as the biggest obstacle, so :/ )

@@saru7208 It's in Star Rail too, in Genshin there is no exclusive quest with it, you can do that type of puzzle to get chests I think. In Star Rail, there is a side quest, where you need to check security logs where you do that also.

I actually did this with my friends when we visited japan last month. Stumbled upon it, It's fun but it is super hard. The glow eye mini game we just couldn't get through. If we get to go again before it changes themes we will def jist run thru the red eye like you guys did.

The way to do the Spider puzzle is to take one out at a time, going for the ones that block the one you just did. If you pull one out and it blocks one you've just gotten out (and you can't clear it), go for another. Then you'll have minimal amount of lines to deal with at the end and it's just pattern recognition. You could probably hold 2 of them at a time with one hand (thumb and pointer finger).
