@Meggion A taco that's is made using traditional ingredients and methods is quite nutritious. You get carbs and micronutrients from a mixtamilized corn tortilla. You get protein from the meat & veggies from salsa, cilantro and cebolla. Half of the taco is on the way the tortilla is made: heirloom corn, food grade lime and salt. A beautiful thing!

What makes a chef more qualified to do a fpod review vs these two when your talking cultural foods and variance in taste? that's a thing about Mexican food, When it comes to mexican food we aren't pretentious about who is allowed to eat it, it's meant for everyone. Sure having a 4 star chef review the joint brings in some validation the point of Mexican food is that it's cheap and it is attainable by everyone, i want the poorest of the poor to try these tacos as well as the open minded business man.

No doubt about it these are the best tacos in NYC (Manhattan) after going on a taco tour in LA with my sister I thought i'd never eat another taco like those again or at least here in NYC but then comes los tacos #1 to midtown and now it's one of my regular spots for lunch. The secret get there a few minutes before 12pm and you'll beat the lunch crowd! No Ticket NO TACO!

The best tacos in nyc are the grilled mahi mahi fish tacos from El Centro in Hells Kitchen. Ive tried probably 50 Mexican restaurants. El Centro is the best.
