There are so many pretty castles (where the other person is right, they are in the south) and many different cities with different vibes, Berlin is way different from Hamburg for example, or Schwerin is also so pretty (AND there's a castle even though it's in the North)

My daughter went to Florida with a friend last summer, and Jovie (our girl boxer) didn’t even know what to do with herself when Morgan got home. When you come back, you HAVE to spend some more time in Slovenia, hike to beautiful Triglav lakes, go to Soča river and then spend at least a week in Croatia, visit Plitvice lakes, Velebit mountain where you have the best view on Croatian coast and islands, take a tour on the coast, of course etc... there is soooo many magical places, I don't know where to start.. it would be a mistake just to drive through Croatia and not to stop and enjoy it for a week, at least! I recommend Portugal. It has ocean on one side and mountains on the other side. It's so diverse and so beautiful. Food is amazing and to die for, then you have all the castles and more to visit, the people are so nice, the big cities but also the small towns with hidden gems. It's just an amazing country in general, but some people only visit Lisbon, and there's so much more to Portugal than just the capital. You guys have the best videos! This was so heart warming! And by coincidence, yesterday I spent most if the day and night with my husband in the ER. He had a seizure, but he is okay now. But the ER doctor told us that he was from Slovenia! I never realized that it was that beautiful either. But the best part of your video was your count-down and reunion with Oso! Why do dogs own our hearts? I had to leave mine at home while at the hospital and I really missed him! This morning I took him with me when I went to visit my husband. We walked around the outside of the hospital but I had to leave him in the car when I went inside. He seemed happy with that, as long as I wasn't leaving him at home alone, with the cats!

Wow, Slovenia has definitely changed since I was there in '97! While it was traditionally the wealthiest of the former Yugoslav states, and had escaped the worst of the Bosnian war, times were still pretty tough back then. Good to see how far they've progressed- they're beautiful, friendly people. Awesome to see you guys back on the road again, though would've thought it appropriate for you to have stopped in Verona on the way! Lol, a bit nicer than our Verona!
