About the brown butter bark, As a retired pastry chef, the bacon should have been very crisp and much less bacon. Almost like chocolate chips. Really chrispy bacon. It will be a sweeter and totally different experience. 😉 love you ladies 💞

You two, Wes at Highfalutin' Low Carb, and Steve from Serious Keto are the only three youtubers who actually tell the truth about the recipes taste/texture. I've watched hours upon hours of content for recipe ideas, and at the end a smiling host is talking about how great "X" is with a big ol' smile. I'd seen someone else make that carnivore crack and at the end was raving about how delicious iit is etc, and I remember thinking how on eath does that taste like anything other than what it is - bits of bacon in globs of butter? Thanks for saving us all the time and expense of making junk recipes! You guys are great!

I'm currently doing carnivore as an elimination diet, struggling with autoimmune and migraines. You think the carnivore candy/crack is crazy but I promise after about a week of next to nothing the flavor profile of everything changes and butter becomes sweeter. It's almost bizarre but it definitely does the trick 😅

Same here! Hoping to learn a bit more about what does, and doesn’t, cause me issues by doing a carnivore elimination diet for a while. I didn’t love the brown butter bites at first, in spite of loving butter, but they’ve grown on me so much I think I’m addicted now! 😆

As a former pastry chef, I would make bacon cupcakes. People would shutter at the idea of meat in a dessert. Then I would explain it as pancakes with a side of bacon and real maple syrup combined into one. They then would try it, and I never heard a yuck from them. It sometimes take a change of words to change mindset.
@arbonneladyTN Жыл бұрын
True! 10 years ago our daughter wanted bacon cupcakes at their wedding.., umm yuck I thought. I went to the bakery here that the baker came in 2nd on an episode of “Cupcake wars”, I was really surprised how much I liked the maple bacon cupcakes. We got a lot for our daughter, and they flew off the table during the reception.

Sadly negative people get some kind of power by writing their obnoxious comments 🤷♀️ They are sad angry people with sad lives. I have seen too many times the same person being nasty on several channels. Maybe they are angry at the creators popularity , and that they could not do what the creators have done. I really appreciate all that you have done for us the viewers!!! You both are refreshing & humorous. There have been many recipes I see and 🤔 think ‘should I try it?’ I’m a good cook, but some things turn me off…so when you try it for me, I can either gag with you or try it!😂 You two are adorable and fun to watch! Hi kids! I love your channel and love the recipes 😍. I have been ketovore (mostly meat) for awhile now and love it. One thing, that is my opinion and doesn't mean anything, is that the brown butter should be cooked a little bit more, not black but saddle leather brown. That improves the flavor 10 fold You guys are doing great..keep it up! PS..love the chaffle recipe 😋 😍 👌 😀 PSS. It would also be better to use a larger pan so it would be thinner . Ex 1/2 sheet pan,

I bet that chicken bread if sliced real thin and crisped up under the broiler could open up some variation in carnivore - not so much a replacement food but a vehicle for the fat if you're doing 80/20...

@LuAna I wish you nothing but success and Blessings. Being off of all prescription medicine and having no health issues anymore is what keeps me strict. Great video as always! Amanda from Carnivorous Me has a recipe for Brown Butter Bites which doesn't include meat. It's browned butter with a tad bit of vanilla or cinnamon/allspice for flavoring. Thanks for these recipes! I sometimes brown my butter before frying eggs or scrambling them. It adds a pleasant nutty flavor. I also use salted butter (which becomes more concentrated) and white pepper, then I don't need extra salt or other seasonings.

Try adding your chocolate salt lmnt to the carnivore crack. I make my carnivore bread with raw ground turkey. Its so smooth already, but the cooking time is long since you have to get the loaf to temp. I thought it tasted just like a chicken nugget too, does make great french toast just buttered and seared in a dry pan. We add just a tiny amount of monk syrup.

I tried the brown butter with bacon and found it very salty. I put it in a silicone mold and measured it out because I'm counting calories. I keep them in the refrigerator in a ziploc bag and add them to meat or eggs when I need some extra calories. I have the ingredients to try it again with unsalted butter.

Brown Butter bites… I add a tablespoon of sugar free maple syrup (monk fruit) to the butter just before it starts to brown, ( heat will burn off alcohol sugars) the butter will foam up again but will reduce while butter is browning, plus as the butter cools any foam left will disappear. I use a mini muffin silicone pan, each cup hold a tablespoon. After filling each cup almost to the top I add bacon bits- freeze. Tasty with a hint of maple. Yes I do carnivore 😁& loving it!

I haven't tried the loaf but I have made the brown butter bites a couple of times, just not in the form of bark. It is much better when a very dark brown and made in little silicone candy molds. I've made them without bacon and with bacon and I have to say the texture is much better with tiny crispy pieces of bacon. They definitely are a fat bomb but the salt bite curbs hunger and cravings and the butter is great for hormones and so much more. I am Ketovore/Carnivore mostly and currently doing BBB&E (beef, butter, bacon, and eggs) in Dr. Berry & Neisha's private group. A lot of times I will cube about 2 tablespoons of cold butter and eat a piece or two with a bite of meat. It is delicious!! I also made bacon mayo and am going to try butter mayo next. I am a Type 2 Diabetic and Ketovore/Carnivore has allowed me to come off of all of my medications for Diabetes, blood pressure, beta blocker, and cholesterol. It is a life saver when you need to eat this way and I am so thankful to my doctor for leading me to Keto which, in turn, led Dr. Berry leading me to Carnivore. Love your videos, ladies! 😊
