This game had some cool ideas like being able to recruit gang members and losing cop or gang "heat" by changing clothes and/or getting plastic surgery. The customization was pretty deep, probably inspired by San Andreas.

The fact that you can change your outfit,(I’m a sucker for customization), recruit people, and use multiple characters in a somewhat open world would have made me love this had I knew it existed before now.

Yup, Raven was Steve Blum, while Fatima was Mary Elizabeth McGylnn, actually I heard Crispin Freeman, and Richard Epcar, Wendee Lee, William Frederick Knight and Beau Billimgslea is here too, huh, a Ghost in the Shell/Cowboy Bebop reunion and 3/4's MK11 kast. Also, since Poison and Gina were both voiced by Karen Strassmen, you both played both of her characters in the span of a few days lol

This game is a mess, but I still love it. The sixth console generation was so starved for brawlers that you had to settle for what you could get. On the original Xbox, there was really only a handful of games, like Spikeout: Battlestreet, Final Fight Streetwise and this.

Actually I would say that was the most experimental time for action brawlers, there were a lot of different takes on it. Aside of those you mentioned there are The Warriors, Path of Neo, Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks, Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu, Teen Titans, Both LotR games Two Twoers and the awesome Return of the King, Grabbed by the Ghoulies (quite good if you ask me), some 3D Teenage mutant ninja turtles games, those Buffy the vampire slayer games, "X-Men: The Official Game" and Hulk Ultimate Destruction

I think am done making my saves and documents lol But yea, I dnt think the game is that bad. I think the Multi-player is a lot of fun, but unlocking the characters is a bitch. Have done many playthroughs to get things done and right and I hope to upload the save online soon so people dnt need to work on the hassle of unlocking the shit in this game if they decide to play and enjoy it lol

This game is not as bad as they say per se....... The problem with this game while Cavia made this game and published by Capcom, the game needs to load every time you go to a different zone and when you go inside a house or business. It keeps loading while they should not had designed the game like this, you cannot level up to your maximum, your NPCs can level up but only if you choose to use them but I hope there is a place in the game where you could level up your NPCs, the game is short and you have lots of NPCs you can use and I wish I could use and try each NPC that I can contact, weapons only have limited use I hope its unlimited, the sound is fine also the music but could be composed better AND THE GRAPHICS! I wish that the story is better and longer. This game is a lot better than the rip-off looking Final Fight: Street Wise.
