Good fish and chips cooked in beef dripping is amazing, I know people in the north take it for granted and are just meh because they have the best fish and chips in my opinion but it's just so much better than the south of England that don't cook in beef dripping. Talking chip shops not restaurants that cook high end fish and chips.

Pollards plaice about 6 doors down from there. Cave street chippy. Jims (longhill estate). All way better.

@@Captainperfection To be honest, i've only ever been once and hand on my heart it was the worst fish and chips i've had in my life, i'd like to think of myself as a connoisseur as i've tried chippy's all over hull and norfolk, too many to think of. I know the folks here adore it and my work goes there on a friday once a month, some of the stuff they get looks great but after that experience i refuse to ever put another penny in their till. I've been to at least 6 chippies in hull and jim's longhill is the best so far by a thousand miles. But a bloke from work prefers east park, it's all preference. I think he's on class a's.
