Wait us try Texas road house for the first time!
I don't know what our expectations were but this definitely exceeded them. We would go back in a heartbeat. The food and the atmosphere were so so good!
This could have weirdly been one of the best steaks we ever had. Something that we were not expecting from a chain restaurant.
This was another addition to our journey to discovering everything Texas and exploring what we now call our home state and country!

FYI, you can buy those rolls by the half dozen or full dozen and take them home and put in the freezer then pull out and heat in the oven to warm..yum

Texas Roadhouse is the only place that I will eat a steak other than at home. Love their rolls with cinnamon butter also. Glad y'all enjoyed it!

So heads up about Texas Roadhouse at least from my experiences, if you're waiting inside for a booth there are containers of shelled peanuts for you to snack on while you wait, when you're being called to be seated most times the person seating you grabs the rolls with the butter and seats you with them but if there are no fresh rolls, liked seen in the video here, they'll bring them to the table with the cinnamon butter and there are also peanuts there for you to snack on. They have amazing appetizers and most of the combos come with 2 sides to choose from. The ribeye comes with just the ribeye and 2 sides unless you add things to it the sirloin combo comes with sirloin and your choice of shrimp or ribs with 2 sides

I hope you two are driving around to see the wildflowers now. I spoke with my friend who lives in Texas and she said the wildflowers were in bloom. There is nothing like a field of Blue Bonnets. Please take the time. It’s worth it

Blue bonnets are gorgeous, I didn't think they would be blooming right now, still in the 60s weather wise, then again we have June bugs in March, so maybe we're getting bule bonnets

There will be Bluebonnet Trail outlines in San Antonio and Austin papers. These will head west of both places... Burnet (BURN it) Texas is about an hour's drive NW of Austin, then continue south to Llano (LAN -oh), onto Marble Falls... Inks Lake State Park. There will be small BBQ shacks along the way, and fancier places, too. (South of Llano, there is COOPERS with a different, direct-flame smoker-grill kind of BBQ. It may be interesting to try that variation compared to the low-and-slow smoker/indirect heat style.) Here in mid-March, we're still getting rain so bluebonnets will likely be thick and wonderful. There will be other weeks with All Red Flowers and another with Mostly Yellow Wildflowers, too. They have cycle to blossom and it can take 4-5-6 weekend drives to catch them all. Great video, but PLEASE, PLEASE...could you clean the camera lens on both front and backside. When you're in your apartment, it creates a hazy fog-like appearance. I'm sure it's just fingerprints causing the problem.

I used to get the steak and rib combo but switched to the steak and shrimp combo because my roommate was making ribs and I was rarely having shrimp. Their shrimp is even amazing too

Mikey... the Ribeye is the best cut ever, don't listen to people that say filet mignon cause they are crazy lol. I do need you to send me a Ribeye from there via Email or else I might leave the channel 😉I love great steak and I was in the restaurant business as chef for many years and the food was outstanding. I know a good steak when I see it! I am suing you and Tash for igniting my appetite for Ribeye again, OYY. Well honestly the only thing that can top a great ribeye is a blackened Ribeye and you can take that to the bank. Take care both of you and enjoy life. I love your vids and wish you both the best.

If you think Texas Roadhouse is great , take a road trip to Buffalo gap Texas and try Perrinis ranch steaks. Truly a Texas eating experience

BTW, Texas Roadhouse isn’t a Texas based company. It was founded in Indiana but now has its headquarters In Louisville, KY. It does have decent steaks

Good question! Amazingly, not a single difference. Blind fold u and u would think u were in TX! Even the experience is duplicate! If u go on Fri Sat sun, u will wait 45 mins!

Texas Roadhouse is reliably acceptably good but hardly great. As you gain more experience in this great state (and even in your immediate area) you'll find places that aren't franchised, founded by a family a long time ago, and being run by a second or third generation descendants. They're a gamble. Some are just coasting on past glory. Some, however, are transcendent experiences.

Y'all should try Saltgrass as well. Saltgrass and Texas Roadhouse are probably the best steaks you can get at a restaurant. I don't care what anyone says, I've been to top dollar steakhouses that would make your wallet cry and it is NEVER worth it.

Ribeye is my very favorite cut of steak! Even better to me then Porterhouse or T-bone! That really made me hungry for one now! LOL Oh dear planters fasciitis - is terrible - I've had it twice - the only thing I could do to stop the constant pain and it finally went away - was to buy the "stick to itself" ace bandages - and wrapped my arch snuggly - and you continue to do that and it seems like it took about 2 weeks to finally get bearable - but the taping was a huge help - also put your toes (top of your foot) against either a wall or step leaving your heel on the ground and move your knee toward the wall - that stretches your Achilles tendon which is tight and what is causing your planters fasciitis! Trust me - it does work!! Had a couple of friends at work that had and did the same thing--the wrapping and stretching will eventually relieve it and of course ibuprofen ....

Everybody loves the rolls and honey butter!! They’re so good at preparing meats whether it’s steak or a rack of ribs you can’t go wrong! And if you go on your birthday they pull out the saddle and you sit on it and they come out and sing happy birthday to you the whole crew!! It can get a bit noisy inside but youll love it! The caesar salad is gteat too!

It's one of my favorite places to eat. Love the steak, and their herb-crusted grilled chicken is awesome too. I order both and take the chicken home for later. The rolls are amazing- I prefer them without the butter. I like their seasoned rice too.

I'm in Florida. Love Texas Roadhouse. It's very good. My favorite though is KJ's Fresh Grill. I don't know if it's a chain or not. Might be only in Fort Myers Florida.
