For your door at 4:40 ... have you considered cutting the door and adding a piano hinge? Cut the door like 3" from the top, add the hinge, then you won't have to bend to get under it.

You guys did great! But u can get a humidifier, small tv(hideaway), and that sky light there is someone that can help(he’s helped a Mercedes RV’er with fans and their up dated sky light. I saw those ideas in other RV’s stories and the tiny home tours too. Keep showing your updates so all of us viewers can help u complete your RV renovating. Both of you have done a great job! Pretty soon you’re gonna help other RV life owners add or improve stuff that fits their needs. Use the Den Dry under your mattress to help avoid moisture. It helps air to breathe between mattress and flat surface. And ikea has a small humidifier that is perfect for your RV and can be seen in other KZbin RV living and tiny home bloggers. And also for that skylight there is a couple of experts on KZbin that recommend in helping to install with update use of a skylight. I’ll send you information to find them. They are awesome and creative how they fix sky lights in RVs.

On the corners of your slide out you can add square wooden decorations. You see these on window and doors in houses. They usually have a circle carved in them. Or you could add square black metal laser cut designs like moose or bear. Love your camper.

Love your finished project; so much work put into this and great to see how you are using & loving it. Similar to you, we downsized from a big fifth wheel to a 21’ fifth wheel ((Escape 5.0) and I truly believe smaller is better. Love, love, love your bath, great entrance, Uber cozy bedroom. Greatly appreciate the technology put into this. Also, if someone says smack about your loving project, ignore them …don’t let their negatively impact you. For the sink, you could glue L- bracket to the sink. Then screw it to the counter top. And to the wood frame under the sink. Yes use the magnet for the shower curtain.

for your slide out trim....first cut the top board to the correct length, as it looks a pinch short. To fix the bowing out of the trim, the trick would be to take the trim off and lay it out flat on the ground as it would be sitting on the doorway, then take a pencil and mark two lines across the joint. then drill two 3/8" holes about 1 1/2" deep into the top of the two side pieces, and also drill the same holes up into the bottom of the top pieces where the marks are. now toss a little glue in the holes, and put in two 3/8" wooden dowels that are just under 3 inches long and tap them together. let them dry , then install the whole piece as one unit to the opening and youre done.

Most people shut the lid of the toilet before flushing. Your dining booth trim matches your butcher block counters nicely as seen on this side of your camera 😊. Light and Love ❤

Shower - Put two hooks on each side of the mirror and either use bungee cords or just plain elastic to cross in front of the mirror. Easy to put on, easy to take off. Try it.

I think it is official; everyone agrees that you guys knocked it out of the park! I’m curious about your budget, assuming you had one for the cost of the renovation. How did you all do? Also, how does the truck handle the camper. Would like to maybe see some video of the outside, both truck and camper as the finished product. You both are so awesome to watch and your sense of humor is palpable. Thank you for sharing. Lastly … LOVE CARMEN SO MUCH. Her little cameos at the end are the icing on the cake!

I love your reno and the look is so cool. You have really, REALLY done a lot and it’s a great result. For the kitchen sink, I wonder if it would help to put metal strapping under the sink to really hold it up against the underside of the counter? The strapping has holes in it, so you could easily bend it and screw each end to the underside of the counter to give the sink, much better support and hold it in place much more rigidly.

On the trim around the slide. Use some square rosette trim. It comes square and would be raised above the difference and no one would know.

This looks brand new. Excellent attention to detail!! Love the door shade. Great design on that!love the fact you have slide! Wow ! That is so cool. The black white and wood looks great! Butcher block looks great!! 😍 👏👏👏👏👏on the fresh water filters!! Only thing I would do I’d turn the shelves into pullouts. Everything I have pulls out and boy you can find things fast! Just add a pull out every few months and think what will help you as you age. 72 now and widowed with heart failure, so glad I made my life simpler when I had the chance! Great video! Kudos! Referring to the slide out frame, consider removing the wood frame and create a trim with the same black fabric you have on the dinette cushions. You could also add some batting to ‘forgive’ the minor differences. I think it would compliment your dinette and remedy the problem. Also will continue to tie in the black deco. Travel safe.

Love your Reno. For your cutting board. Good grade linseed oil is fabulous to help keep your board for a long time. In time your board will get juices in the wood and it will change color. Using the oil will preserve the beautiful board

I love the shade idea on the inside of the screen door, I'm going to do the same to my camper. It was always a hassle to open the doors to move the door shade up/down, so we always kept it down which always kept it dark inside.
