Dan! Been watching you for years! I’ve been an RV technician for years and I recommend you use Dicor Products self leveling lap sealant on everything for the roof. Silicone WILL peel and WILL leak. The self-leveling looks really good when it’s done too.

Hey Dan, love the videos! I’ve been an aluminum welder/fabricator for years now. Best way to cut aluminum is with a plain skill saw (I remove the blade guard, just to make sure it’s OSHA approved) and a regular general purpose blade. Won’t get any cleaner cut than that. Also, when you’re welding with the spool gun you want to “push” into your weld not pull and drag. That way the argon or argon/helium can create the proper ozone in front of where you’re welding not behind. Keep up the sweet content man!

@Efird1004 жыл бұрын
A word of warning with the air conditioning. You will most likely need to run a dehumidifier because of the size of your unit. Sense it for a larger area than what you have it will cool the air down before pulling the moisture out and make it condense on the wall.

I know you love your sawzall Dan but you should really try a cordless circular saw with a Diablo metal blade. It cuts waaaay smoother, straighter and faster than a sawzall. Especially when there’s multiple layers of material to cut.

nice video! lots of progress. all tho as an electrical engineer i gotta say that green/yellow is mostly ground in electrical systems. white and black are switched around a lot and doesn't really matter with ac anyways. I saw at another comment that the kit said to use yellow/green as signal wire? sounds weird to me but hey who am i to tell you that's wrong ;) Have a nice rest of your week Dan!
