I have that 1080p Xiaomi projector. About one month ago it got new firmware update that now includes Netflix client. Now it has natively pretty much everything I can think of: Netflix, Disney+, Plex, HDHomerun, KZbin... Xiaomi's built-in youtube client will play 4K videos, difference to youtube 1080p bitrate/image quality is noticeable. Built-in Netflix client is only 1080p but when I use HTPC and output 4K to the projector, Netflix playbacks 4K also and picture is very good. Now I just need a better screen...

I have a Xiaomi Mija 4k ust projector!I have calibrated it to my liking and I find it great!I use a 100 inch ALR screen and the picture is awesome!I don't like the sound output though!So I've mated it to a Yamaha 5600 sound bar!My streaming device is an Nvidia Shield and believe me it's great!I aslo have an Epson LS 10500 laser projector which is a beast, so I know what I'm talking about!

YSP 5600 - me too, I was able to solve the Atmos/4k/HDR issue with an hdfury splitter - set it up in two minutes two years ago and never had to touch it again. I get full HDR 4k straight to the TV and atmos audio straight to the Yamaha from my Xbox Series X - twice in a couple of years I lost audio for no apparent reason and discovered that the "fix" is just to reboot the soundbar. I spent a lot of time messing with the audio settings in the Xbox before figuring that out. I'm looking at the Wemax (Nova) and the Vava - any thoughts?

Why are you referring to white Fengmi as a300? I thought a300 is the one with black and gold, which is not even in the video. It's hard to hear what you are saying over the music, so could you state your opinion on which is the best projector? And what do you think of wemax a300 (black and gold) one?

I own the Fengmi 4K and really happy with it, however 4K SDR performance is much better then the HDR performance.

I've actually tried to shoot a video comparison but gave up lately. The video quality is varied from time to time and would hardly reflect what we see in reality. Yes, they are having new model mid 2020

No way Mijia 4k is the best one. It is actually at the bottom of the product line. Keep in mind Mijia 4k, Fengmi 4k, A300 are from the same manufacturer. Just different brands.
