I think this might be my favorite video of yours so far, and that is saying a lot! I adore Mum, and would happily watch a series of her discovering different cruise lines or destinations - she's a real gem. I'd guess I'm about her age and I'm also new to cruising, so seeing her reactions really does give me a sense of what this trip would be like. I'm with David I love escargot I look for that night when cruising I always order two, Ben the look on you and your Mom's face when you tried them was priceless lol They aren't for everyone but so happy at least you and your Mom tried them. That park was beautiful with all the statues. My husband made me shrimp and scallop alfredo tonight for dinner , no alfredo sauce from a jar homemade one of my favorite meal, he don't make it often, so I said to him what you do or what's the special occasion lol

Went to Oslo about 13 years ago on a cruise and am returning June 2025 on a Celebrity Norwegian fjord cruise. Last time I was there we got an Oslo city card. It includes entrance to just about every place you would want to go and public transportation which is great in Oslo. This includes the ferry to Bygdøy where the maritime museum is. Plan to get it again. As of May 2024 it is around $50 per person for 24 hours.

The horns!!! I grew up watching the original episodes of The Love Boat. I binged watched "The Love Boat" again before I went on my first cruise on Virgin back in June. Great video of Oslo. I loved the funny sculpture garden comments. Many years ago we went to Oslo but did not go there, but did go to the open air museum with the interesting buildings. Love you guys and your Mom. After watching so many of your videos I feel like you are my secret brothers (and now my newly found aunt), even thought you are British and I am American and we have never met. Great vlog! I went on my first ever cruise in August, armed with loads of tips thanks to you guys - it really took a lot of the anxiety out of the process - and I had an absolute blast! I was on the Sky Princess, and I think it was a similar itinerary as yours; we did Kristiansand, Copenhagen, Skagen, and Oslo. I did my own thing in each port and one thing I can highly recommend in Oslo is the tour of the opera house; I paid £10.24 and it was about an hour-long tour (I booked online in advance). We were able to sit in on a bit of a rehearsal in the main auditorium with the full chorus and soloists, and they take you all around backstage and to the wardrobe department. We also caught a glimpse of a prima ballerina rehearsing her upcoming role for the ballet 'Giselle', and saw some of the sets being constructed for the new season of operas. Plus the architecture of the building itself is quite wonderful. Really not too shabby for just over a tenner! BTW - the tour was in English, and our wonderful tour guide used to be a ballerina with the company.

Oslo, I’ve never cruised there but I was born and grew up there and have visited every spot you went to except that suspicious buffet. Loved seeing you guys experience it.
